We stayed at the Hotel Astoria for a quick overnight trip to Kraków to visit the Auschwitz memorial. We found a very welcoming reception, the receptionist spoke English which was helpful as we had no Polish, and a comfortable and tidy room. Tea and coffee available in room and cable tv with a number of channels. The hotel is close... More

This is a nice small hotel in the old Jewish area of Krakow. The rooms are clean but as a rule the building is showing it's age. The breakfast is well worth having to set you off for the day. The location is great and everything in the city is within walking distance, including the railway station with it's good... More

The hotel is located in a good spot - Centre of Kazimierz. Close to Wawel Castle. Room quite clean but the bathroom a bit neglected and could smell the sewage system. Breakfast is pretty good. Nice service.

No complaints here - the location is fantastic - right in the middle of the Jewish Qtr with all it's cool bars/pubs and restaurants. The vibe of the Jewish Quarter with all the history and modern quirks is a must see. It is only a 10-15 minute max. easy walk to the Main Square. And you can stop off for... More

Location - walking distance to several good restaurants, trams, bars. Felt safe at night. The room was for 3 and we got 3 single beds which was great. However, they were not luxurious or even very comfortable. We only got one flat pillow per person and a small decorative pillow. When we first arrived the receptionist was very rude but... More

A lovely hotel in a great location. Easy to get to tourist sites and local eateries. Very good value. Clean and friendly and staff helpful at all times. Great breakfast and rooms cleaned every day. Historical area which is very evident.

Nice little hotel, VERY friendly staff. The receptionist was so eager to help, and nothing was a bother for her! We checked in two hours early and it wasn't a problem. Our transfer to the air port wasn't due until 6pm, so we were allowed to stay in the room until then! Very nice! Rooms were average, nice beds nice... More

Can't really fault this place, especially for the price. Rooms comfortable enough. Reception staff spoke good English and very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast very tasty and good choice of both traditional Polish fare plus more healthy options. Kazimierz a bohemian area and I can certainly see that it could be noisy and rowdy at the weekends, but all I can... More

Gave 1* because the breakfast lady made a nice coffee. 1.very dangerous and rough poorly lit neighborhood... also lots of police...and drunks vomiting and urinating on the pavement.. and loud partying until wee hours....Women definitely must not walk alone in this area. 2.substandard hotel. 3.must crawl under desk to plug in hot water maker...and don't expect coffee mugs to be...
