I think the Lonely Planet was a bit out of date when it recommended this place, either that or they were high on something and didn't realise how foul this place was. First thing, the locks on the bathroom don't work- not that that's an issue because the toilet doesn't flush and the shower doesn't work. This "villa" (lol) has... More

This hostel almost ruined my Krakow experience. Dirty rooms. Locks don't work on the doors. Bathrooms were filthy and covered in mould, always wet floors and some had holes on the wall. I almost threw up once because the smell was so bad. Kitchen was also disgusting. Downstairs bar was mouldy and musty. There was a weird middle aged short... More

Excellent location right between Wawel Castle and Kasimierz, and tram lines super close as well. Fun vibe - spartan breakfast included, as well as some kielbasa sand bread on sat nights. Basement bar was minimally stocked with beer, but still a great place to meet fellow backpackers. Wifi was very spotty. Not posh, but very comfortable!

I've stayed here several times in the last 8 years and I keep coming back. The location is amazing. If you stay on the "new" side the bunks are sturdy and wooden and the mattresses comfortable. Also you have a shelf, power outlets, and reading lights (if they work) in each bunk. There are ample lockers in the rooms, big... More

Very good atmosphere, friendly staff and people, clean, good looking rooms, comfortable beds. I had great fun in the bar, playing pool, darts, ping pong at the garden. People at the reception were very helpfull, I had great fun in Krakow!!!

At our arrival we couldn't get the room that we had booked previously so we were offered separated rooms with other people. After that they gave us ancient towels that we had to pay at a ridiculous price as the bathroom was floated and the water wasn't running properly. Moreover, when we went to sleep at night there was a... More

We had a double room without bathroom two nights. The location is good. 20 minutes walk from train station. And near the judish area. The guy in the reception was very friendly. Our room was okey. Old bedsheets. And we could hear our neighbours too much. We heard what they do on the toilets.. But the hole stat was okey.

We stayed for two nights, april 2014. The hostel is extremely dirty, bathrooms included. Clean linen was provided but blankets were filthy. Lavatory was broken and leaked water directly to the floor. In extremely cold weather no heating was available. It looks as if this hostel was incredible a few years before but it looks as if in ruins now.... More
