We searched accommodation in Krakow and we did find this cozy hotel near to the city center. To be honest, it seems a bit shabby but room was clean, staff was very very nice and kind and helpful and they have really tried to do their best. Breakfast was very very delicious! Pretty wide sortiment so you can eat whatever you... More

We decided to stay at this hotel for our 4 night stay in krakow based on the reviews from other travellers and the low price. Hotel is dated and I believe was once a 4 star but now only 3 which is about right. Cleanliness was excellent and everything was spotless. Bed was comfortable although pillows should be replaced as... More

We stayed here for two nights and were very happy this hotel! Our room was massive with a big comfortable bed. A really nice touch was the "kids corner" with toys and books that our four year old boy could play with. What a great idea! I can't rate the staff highly enough - very welcoming, friendly and helpful at... More

I've been travelling solo around Europe and checked in at Hotel Demel on August 30. I only stayed there one night and checked in really late around 8PM. The tour bus (from our Salt Mine tour) dropped me off, the last one to be dropped off since the hotel is not near the city centre. The front desk lady(her name... More

This hotel seems to still be existing in early 70s, so it is a great chance to see how places were built and maintained at that time. It is also a great example to see how they behaved as well. There is no wifi; furniture and bathroom is very old. Overall service is terrbile and seems to have problems in... More

The whole point of staying at the Demel is great value for the money. Friendly staff, very comfortable room, more than adequate breakfast ( at this price lucky to have it included). It amazes me people have commented on ,it is a long way from the city. If this was in the city it would cost many times the price.... More

We paid approx £15 each pp B & B and for that we got decent sized room with double bed and sofa and ensuite shower. The bed, which felt firm at first, was surprisingly comfortable. Not luxurious but clean and well kept. Breakfast was good standard buffet type but you could request hot items such as sausages, scrambled eggs etc.... More

Would like to say we have just come back from Hotel Demel and enjoyed the warm welcome we received from the staff. The Hotel was clean, warm and comfortable, we paid only £15 per night each B&B so did not expect luxury, but what we did get was clean, warm and very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this... More

The photos and the stars rate doesn't match reality. Rooms- very old, small bathroom, as clean it is, still bed feeling staying there. Staff - very nice and helpfull. Location - few stations from the center placa. breakfast - good for 3 stars b&b. you can even choose your eggs or sausage :)

This hotel was advertised as 3 -4 stars which kindly I can say is not. The location is far from the downtown of Krakow, you have to take tram to go to citycentre and loose 20 min more less. The food was average and the service is not the best. Althought I have to say that the waiter in the... More
