Basic 60s style hotel in a great location for sightseeing in Krakow. Rooms very clean. Short walk to main square. 20 minutes walk from Jewish Quarter. Very sociable Cafe Wodka Bar 5 minutes walk in Mikolajska 5. Run by Madjek. Over 100 different vodkas. Cranberry great, so grapefruit, so lemon..... Lovely atmosphere. Hotel is really conveniently situated just on the outside of the ‘planty’ (tree lined avenue that surrounds the inner city) it is only 5 min max stroll into the main square where there are enough restaurants / shops / historic buildings / museums / churches etc to satisfy anyone’s tastes. The hotel is pleasant and clean, it is large& airy... more

Myself and three friends stayed in this hotel for four nights 19th - 23rd October 2009. We had very nice refurbished rooms, which were very clean. The bathrooms were more than adequate with a separate shower cubicle, and also spotless, with hairdryer provided. Bottled water was supplied every day, breakfast good standard continental style. Rooms were very spacious and we had... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in October and have to say it was an inspired choice. We travelled with friends who had stayed here before and so we had an idea that it was going to be a decent place to stay. Check in was smooth and simple and the room was good allbeit a little small (we have stayed... more

Having read other reviews I was apprehensive of staying in this hotel and upgraded to a premier room before travelling. This cost 10 euro per room per night. On arrival the room allocated was excellent with tea & coffee facilities and bottled water plus a sofa and two chairs. Breakfast was continental but was very good with plenty of choice.... more

We thought the hotel had been completely refurbished and our room was fine and beds very comfortable. The dining room was spotless and the choice at breakfast excellent bearing in mind that it is normal to have a cold buffet on the Continent and the bread was lovely. It was a short walk into the main square and on the... more

From the outside, this hotel gave the immediate impression of an office block or block of flats, with a selection of shops looking out from the ground floor. The hotel is situated about five minutes away from the central attraction - Rynek Square. It's easy to walk to and from the town too and the awesome Galleria shopping centre, with... more

Hotel was very clean and bright/airy. The staff were all generally rather sour-faced and not particularly friendly but they were efficient. The room we stayed in was small, narrow and long and the beds were 'feet to feet' but the beds and duvets were very comfortable and warm. The TV and radio both worked well and there was adequate wardrobe... more

I stayed at the Wyspianski in September. You can't fault it's location. Booked through Expedia and although I had asked for a non smoking room, my room stank of cigarette smoke and there were ashtrays in the room, so I assumed all rooms were smoking rooms. My room was quiet and spacious but very dated and in desperate need of... more
