I am a school teacher and was part of a school party consisting of 41 students (aged17-18) and four staff. I realise that this makes for a different experience from a couple going for a weekend break, etc, but there are a couple of things I feel it would be handy for people to know. I'll start with the positives.... more

Hotel was clean, fantastic location,We had a balcony which needed a coat of paint, but it didnt bother us really. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, i know it suited some people, but we found it consisted of salads, pickles, stuffed eggs etc. The Cheese and meat was very poor with hardly any taste at all, the bread was... more

Spent a few days at leisure in Krakow, and needed just a basic but clean hotel. This meets the criteria. Very central and within easy reach of the old city, and walking distance from the train station. Reception speak good English, if at times a little formal. That said we were in a modern room, with a very clean bathroom... more

We travelled to Krackow20th June for 3 nights room only, we booked as part of a package with Co op Travel online, the cost of the accomodation worked out at £40.00 each. The hotel is in a good position near to the old market square, we booked a twin room, which was quite small with the beds end to end.... more

I booked a room through Octopus and was happy to take the chance of a twin or a double, we got a twin but rather than two beds side by side they were end to end in a thin room. The only response to a complaint was the offer to pay more to upgrade. A shame as it is a... more

If you want to get to bed at 3AM and get up at 6AM in a hot muggy room, this may be the hotel for you. If you don't mind sleeping on a blood stained mattress, this hotel will meet your needs very well! Don't ask the people at the front desk to change rooms because they will show you... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in April. As you may have gathered from some other reviews there are different types of rooms - from what I could tell there were the basic rooms we were in on one side of the back part of the hotel, some slightly bigger ones on the other side at the back of the hotel... more

We have just returned from a 4 night trip to Krakow. We stayed at the Wyspianski Hotel and following reading other peoples comments I booked a classic plus room direct with the hotel. Check-in was great really quick and the porter took us to our room which we were really pleased with. We had a very large double bed with... more

After staying in hostels and dodgy apts this was a welcome change. Staff were very helpfull. Gave us a free upgrade and allowed us to check in early and leave our bags late. The all you can eat brekkie went down well too. Krakow is amazing prettier than expected and cheap! more
