stayed at the petrus for a week, it is a walk down the riverbank to the city centre but its a very pleasant half hour walk with great views and also a quirky little stop off point being a cafe in a kind of shack with candles outside on tables and hanging from trees etc just down a side path... more

Clean, nicely decorated hotel, excellent value for the price. We had a nie room on the second floor, room 21 with the big bay window, the bathroom is massive and the hotle is kept very warm. We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Petrus. The rooms were small but comfortable and modern. also spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good. lots of choice. Location - about 1- 2 km from the old town, but 15 mins walk or a cheap taxi ride!!!! Staff were extremely helpful & nothing was too much trouble. We would definately return there. more
