Coming to this hotel and looking out the windows you can see why everybody wanted to invade and take over this beautiful city! Me and all my family have been coming to this hotel for the last 5 years and I would not stay anywhere else in krakow! We book and choose our rooms through a member of staff via... More

This was once a beautiful hotel and visitors can still enjoy the art deco touches that abound. The location is ideal, right on the edge of the Old Town, just under Wawel Castle. Everything you'll want to see, including Kazimierz, is in easy walking distance. The rooms are simple but they are clean and provide everything you'll want, except air... More

This hotel has a great location, beautiful rooms with great facilities. The only drawback may be the noise from the trams, but to me it does not interfere. It is also less of a problem with orientation at the hotel, I walked back door because it was in my room easier. Into this hotel, I would definitely like to return.... More

Booked a room and found out that it is in the second building. Lucky the porter helped me to find the room. Take note of the directions when you go to your room because it may not be simple. It is like a "maze" as the old and so called new buildings are on the different levels. Lots of stairs...... More

Good location, near the castle. Old style décor, bit faded but not without character. Great breakfast, lousy wifi connection. Some staff more helpful than others. Tip: don't let them book a cab for you, it costs a fortune. But tours from hotel were good value (I went to Auschwitz one day, Salt Mines the next). Room was a bit warm... More

Just got back from a weekend in Krakow and would definitely recommend this hotel. Location is perfect - just far enough away from the old square to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough for it to be a short walk to restaurants and bars. Opposite Wawel castle too which is also convenient. Rooms are a great... More

You can’t ask more from a hotel than that it’s ideally located, the grub is good, the beds are comfortable and that it looks good on photos. The Royal Hotel Krakow is one of the best value hotels I’ve stayed in. Plus it has character just oozing from it. You might imagine it in a bye-gone era, horse drawn carriages... More

Nice price- booked through website. Nice location. The downside is travelling here by car and the service around that issue. You cant book a parking space before you arrive- the last thing you want to do when you have travelled for 8h is to start looking for a spot in the streets. It ended with us carrying our lugage for... More

We booked a couple of rooms to use as a bolt hole while in Krakow for the weekend. Knowing Krakow very well I knew the location would be perfect. We booked through Booking.com and got two comfort rooms really cheep (under 200zl) each. As it has been said before on here, the rooms are really dated, our room must have... More

We stayed here on a Girls weekend in Krakow. The location was great as it was a 5 minute walk from the main Square with plenty of shops and bars at your foot step. The rooms where fine, a bit dated, very big and after some polish vodka can be a bit hard to find sometimes! We where there in... More
