You can't beat the location of this older but good hotel. This is my second visit to this hotel and really enjoyed my stay. It is across the street from Wawel Castle and "around the corner" from Old Town. My room was huge, over looking the park. It is sparsely decorated but who cares ....... you're in charming Kraków. Quite an old antiquated hotel, rooms have the usual old feel furniture. Bathrooms have been newly refurbished though. If you are there for just a few days its perfect, any longer and I would be looking for a little more luxury. The staff couldn't be more helpful, really went out of their way to assist. Locality is a short walk... More

Visited this hotel last week for 4 nights and was shocked, the location was fantastic could not pick a better hotel, short walk from Rynek glowny square and when arranging tours they picked us up right outside which was so handy, the hotel is filled with history and not modern which we loved! Breakfast was okay but not a massive... More

The room was great with two balconies a big bathroom and an additional toilet the only negative was the bed and if I was being pedantic I would have liked a fridge the location is brilliant next to the castle and in easy walking distance of the square

The hotel is perfectly located, right across from the castle. The grandeur of this hotel is still apparent, but faded away.Still more interesting than the boxy boring new hotels.Barely clean enough, yet still good value for the price.

We stayed here in June 2015 as part of a group. The hotel is steeped in history and the rooms were large and airy with high ceilings and enough space to host your own football match! Bathrooms are well appointed and although the hotel is "dated" this only adds to it's charm. Great food in the Pod Wawellum restaurant (I... More

This is a charming hotel with a wonderful ambiance. It is not a 'new' 'polished' hotel, it is a renaissance hotel with old world charm. Large clean rooms with high ceilings and windows that actually open. The staff in knowledgeable and helpful. Best of all is the location - right at the base of the Wawel castle; a short walk... We stayed here for 2 nights with friends, and although Hotel very dated it was clean. We did get lost to start with as hotel is over 3 floors, but once we got our bearings it was great. Nice little bar where drinks not expensive. Exchange bureau in hotel entrance was giving a lot better rate than UK, so worth... More

Every time we went into the hotel I would look about at the history of the place. Even though the rooms have been updated with new bathroom suites, beds and furniture (and Wifi), you could still see history all around. The walls, high ceilings and floors have witnessed some events over the years and was amazing to experience. The hotel... More

This hotel is fantastic. Clean, very good dining, just outside the wall to the old city, making everything easily accessed. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a desk and two big sitting chairs. Just outside our window was the park that surrounds the old city, making it easily accessible to walking and the river.
