We have just been in this hotel for 4 nights (2 adults and 2 kids) and we were really satisfied. 1) Wonderful position: in one of the main streets, full of shops and bars, leading from one of the old doors of the city to the main square. 2) Room: big, with TV, fridge, wonderful bathroom, clean, silent, comfortable beds... Stayed here in May 2014 for 3 nights for a business trip. About a 20 minute cab ride from the airport, but right in the heart of old town. You'd never know this place was there if you walked down the street - it's well hidden behind an old iron gate and nondescript facade. The hotel is only a couple... More

This is the second time we've stayed in this hotel and love it. It is right in the middle of Old Town Krakow and an easy walk to many restaurants, shops, and attractions. It is an old hotel that is filled with charm. Large, clean rooms and a very helpful staff. I asked for a complimentary breakfast, and they did... More

I am just back from a city break in Krakow and we stayed in this hotel. Firstly it is in the old town - very central and handy for everything. Our room was on the third floor and looked over the restraurant on the inside of the hotel (not facing the street). We were glad of this as the street... More

Great location near the city center hidden behind dark metal doors. tiny lobby.... restaurant has glass ceiling (looks like it was originally a courtyard) and very sophisticated food -- in the back area is separate menu and less expensive (but still pricy). Enjoyed the breakfast -- was included in our price. We had two dinners there. Attentive service. Room was... More

Dear Guests, Thank you very for taking your time to write your opinion about Pod Różą Hotel & Restaurant. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. You are correct - the restaurant area (under the glass roof) was oryginally the courtyard. We invite you to our hotel in the future. Kind regards, Małgorzata Godzik-Kęsek More

Great location, 1 minute to walk from the big square. The staff was extremely helpful and answered a lot of questions also by mail before our stay. We had very quiet rooms on the 4th floor, and the rooms were really huge. Nice bathroom with shower, big safe in the room. Beautiful view to the tower of the St.Mary's church.... More

Just a short walk from the main square, this hotel is a comfortable but expensive place to stay. Nice room amenities, comfy bed, huge bathroom. Expensive ($18) per person buffet breakfast not included. Skip it and find something cheaper on the street- lots of nice cafés nearby serve breakfast.

Dull decoration with inadequate lighting and missing entirely near the wardrobe and room safe coupled to a lumpy and flat pillow detracted from the hotel's excellent central location and efficient strafed. Take a torch if you want to find your clothes or use the safe.

Some of the rooms have been renovated with nice classic style. Hotel is very well situated on a Pedestrian Street close to the main Square. Lot of attractions and good Restaurants close by. Good Breakfast and service value $ money. Unfortunately the Street noise is a problem, for example Room 213 is opposite to very noisy 24/7 1€ Bar and... More
