Our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed here for 2 nights during our short visit to Krakow and truly enjoyed it. The hotel neatly fits into the surrounding quiet streets of Krakow and everything about it is welcoming...the lobby, the staff and overall ambience. The rooms are well appointed, very comfortable and quiet. It can be difficult to get... More

I recently stayed for one night at the Copernicus in one of their luxury suites, as I was curious to see this place which was recommended to me by various travellers. The room was nice, but a little bit worn out (especially the bathroom) and rather dark (nevertheless, I had a very beautiful night there … ). One thing which... More

We stayed four nights at this Relais & Chateaux property. We had a suite at a very reasonable rate. The room was large and clean, with a massive well appointed bathroom. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom. And yet... ..nothing seemed quite right about the room itself. I know it's a historic building but the layout wasn't conducive to... More

Relais and Chateaux property. We loved it, and got a very good rate on a day-before stay. The property was recently re-done, and the rooms in a 15th century building really made the place special. There was a pool in the lower level (did not use it, but it looked inviting) and we felt warm and welcomed. Breakfast was exceptional,... More

Everything we thought it would be and more!! We spent 4 nights here over New Year. Perfect location minutes from the castle and a short walk to the main square. Situated on a quiet cobbled street it was idyllic. It was a shame the weather was so mild we really would have liked some snow as it would have looked... More

I stayed in Hotel Copernicus twice in November 2011 and was quite pleased both times. As other reviewers have noted, the place is a walk from the central square (5-10 minutes) or the train station (15-20 minutes). It's on a quiet street - which, frankly, could be better lit - where you'll also find at least one very good Italian... More

South of the main square in a quiet area, so not as central as other hotels and a walk from the main train station. Historic building, which is well done, but has its disadvantages as it was not meant to be a hotel when it was built in the 15th century. Excellent restaurant, general areas and service. More

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for choosing the Copernicus for your stay in Krakow. We appreciate your kind comments. Indeed in XIV th century the house was build to be a private Palace . When the owners took over the building in 1997 they made fantastic job to preserve all the historical paintings, ceilings and walls that we may admire presently.... More

What a fantastic hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us, arranging tours, taxis etc. The location is right next to the castle, and only minutes from the main square. Very comfy, warm and cosy, esp the heated bathroom floor. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and can't wait to go back. More

We enjoyed a 5 night stay here in October. We loved the location as it was within easy walking distance of virtually all of the places we wished to visit. The hotel is charming and exactly what we hoped to find when visiting Krakow. We had a large lovely room with a view of the castle. The staff is wonderful... More

The Copernicus is in the best location in the old town of Krakow - full of cobbled streets, mainly pedestrianised as cars need a license to drive here, lovely old buildings, amazing restaurants on your doorstep, short walk to the main square. Culture seeps out of every corner of the hotel and on the streets. The pool is lovely -... More
