My husband and I are a mature couple. We chose Krakow because we enjoy walking about exploring in the winter time. However, what we did not plan for was spending our 5 days in Poland during one of the coldest weeks of the year. It was around -21 - 25 each day. Not to be deterred we ventured out but... More

The hotel is right in the centre of the old town, just a couple of minutes walk from the main square. Plenty of bars, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. And a nice little bakery just up the street. Our room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and warm. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but adequate. The rest... More

Stayed here with my sister for a lecture by Norman Davis, the reason we chose this hotel was the great location, it is located very close to the historic city center. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, they showed us to our room and explained all the amenities that the rooms offered. Like many others have... More

When you say ‘The Grand’, you think of luxury and flamboyance. Well, there are many things missing here that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. That said, it’s plush old style interiors, welcoming staff and cozy rooms make it a nice place to stay. It’s also a pleasantly unique experience. It’s in the heart of the touristy town... More

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights. We found all staff to be friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and properly presented. Although the room/bathroom were small they were perfectly adequate for our purpose. Towels and toilet paper could have been more luxurious. Dined in the cafe one night as too tired to go out. Nothing out of... More

The good stuff: Staff generally helpful Excellent location in an amazing city Nice rooms The bad stuff: The awful, terrible receptionist. Two are great but you will know immediately when you get the one I'm talking about. Hard to believe people like this can keep a job in frontline customer service. Poor water pressure Poor cardboardy itchy scratchy towels Poor... More

This hotel is old style but very adequate. It is not luxurious but its position is excellent. The rooms are large and comfortable and the food is of a good standard. It is in the heart of Krakow with many excellent restaurants close by. If staying for a few days I would recommend this hotel as long as the name... More

I took at 7'o clock breakfast. The bread was from the day before when I had finished I saw someone... More

I stayed here with my parents and i have to say the location was brilliant. staff were quite helpful. The place could probably do with a lift. we never ate here as there are so many great places to eat in krakow. overall a nice hotel but a bit expensive for what you get in my opinion. More
