This hotel takes you back to the past: wooden creaking floors, very high ceilings and doors. The room was spacy and comfortable. The bathroom was basic but worked fine. Friendly staff and good breakfast. The hotel borders on the park surrounding the city centre: great location. Next to train station. The only negative thing is the noise of the trams.

I have just returned from a long weekend at this hotel. I was travelling with a friend and we have two rooms. We had booked direct with the hotel and received a very good rate for bed and breakfast. The hotel is nearly a hundred years old and on the corner of the street. It is close to the old... More

a real old-world hotel that was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was well laid out and substantial and the evening dinner was of a good quality. I would recommend this hotel for its comfort and service quality. Its location 5 to 10 minutes walk from the main square and the centre of the... More

Chose the Polonia from the internet after reading positive reviews. I found the place to be in an excellent city centre location. Cross the road and you are a very short five minute walk from the town square. We had three rooms (six blokes) two were excellent and one was like a broom cupboard. Seems that the hotel is having... Stayed at the Polonia for 4 nights, Bed and breakfast. This hotel is within 5 minutes of the main square of Krakow, which makes it an ideal base from which you can explore this most amazing city. It is also very close to a huge modern shopping mall and the railway station, so all needs will be catered for. The... More

The Polonia Hotel is in a great location. Right next to the Bus/Train stations and the perimeter of the historic centre. It is very easy to reach the old town and see the sights from here. The hotel has a lot of stairs so I do not think it is disabled friendly even though it has a lift once you... More

The hotel is opposite the arched entrance to the town Near to the train station and surrounded by tour companies that can arrange visits to the attractions The hotel itself is quite old and dated but this adds to its charm There is a lot of building work going on and this could be a problem for some though not... After reading a negative review about this hotel I felt a little unsettled after I am a young female travelling by herself but I can say this hotel serves nothing but praise. I will mark it as excellent because it is exactly as described on the website, for such value the hotel was clean, brilliant customer service and a healthy... More

Funny old style hotel, bit old and tired, but a truly excellent location, a short walk from Glowny Station and a similar distance to the old town main gate. Our room was on the first floor overlooking a bit of green yard, quite away from the trams on the street, their vibrations still apparent but not the noise. The breakfast... More
