Hotel Polonia is situated just right if you want to shop. It is just opposite the main shops so you can shop to your hearts content, then leave your shopping at the hotel and go tour the city. The train station is also just across if you want to take a tour. It is an old hotel but the rooms... More

Close to the main train station and just outside the walled city, Polonia is a very charming old world type hotel. Stayed a couple of doors down from reception, through a large wooden front door into a 1930's type stairwell to floor one and into a spacious renovated room. Very comfortable bed and very quiet. Breakfast is good and quite... More

This is a lovely hotel but it is in the middle of being refurbished. On arrival we were made to feel welcome. We were given a large twin room which had been refurbished. It was lovely. The only problem was that with the refurbishment going on it was very noisy. We had been up since 4 am leaving from Edinburgh... More

We stayed here three nights - good hotel with tram stops right outside the hotel and a big shopping center nearby. I am a light sleeper and wasn't really disturbed by the noise. Its an old hotel and is undergoing renovation. The hotel is minutes away from the old town square. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. We... More

This hotel is a beautiful, classic-style hotel with new refurbishments. It is located just outside the walls of the Old Town, near the Barbican; and just across the Krakow Glowny Railway Station and Galeria Krakowska mall. It has a good restaurant, our continental breakfast is sumptuous, our dinner is delicious, and the price is fair.

This hotel takes you back to the past: wooden creaking floors, very high ceilings and doors. The room was spacy and comfortable. The bathroom was basic but worked fine. Friendly staff and good breakfast. The hotel borders on the park surrounding the city centre: great location. Next to train station. The only negative thing is the noise of the trams.

I have just returned from a long weekend at this hotel. I was travelling with a friend and we have two rooms. We had booked direct with the hotel and received a very good rate for bed and breakfast. The hotel is nearly a hundred years old and on the corner of the street. It is close to the old... More

a real old-world hotel that was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was well laid out and substantial and the evening dinner was of a good quality. I would recommend this hotel for its comfort and service quality. Its location 5 to 10 minutes walk from the main square and the centre of the... More

Chose the Polonia from the internet after reading positive reviews. I found the place to be in an excellent city centre location. Cross the road and you are a very short five minute walk from the town square. We had three rooms (six blokes) two were excellent and one was like a broom cupboard. Seems that the hotel is having... Stayed at the Polonia for 4 nights, Bed and breakfast. This hotel is within 5 minutes of the main square of Krakow, which makes it an ideal base from which you can explore this most amazing city. It is also very close to a huge modern shopping mall and the railway station, so all needs will be catered for. The... More
