I stayed here in May of 2013. The hotel is very unique and had a great old world feel. Our room was very spacious. Our bathroom was not attached to our room- but as it was our own private bathroom, it was perfectly fine. The staff was incredibly helpful and assisted us in arranging tours and transportation. The breakfast spread... More

We just returned from our trip to Central Europe and one of the highlights had to be staying at the Klezmer Hois and for many reasons. First of all, value. A very reasonable price and we got a 3 room suite. Room to spread out. The breakfast spread was by far the best we had in Europe and included with... More

My friend and I booked this hotel due primarily for its location, price and apparent quirky style. We were not disappointed. It is located right on the square in the jewish quarter backing onto Starowislna. Look at the map, this road runs straight into town with trams and buses, also direct line to the salt mines. It was not noisy,... More

We were here for 4 nights. We only ate in for the evening once as there are so many other places to eat. The food was very nice but there wasn't much of it for the price. There was a kletzmer trio (you pay £5 each for this but that's not a lot of money). They were younger people, nice... More

We keep coming back even if there’s always something which lets us down. E.g. this year we booked one specific apartment (no 19) long time in advance but we were given another one with windows to a noisy street. However, they compensated it by some price reduction. Also food is nothing to write home about, except breakfast where there’s always... More

We spent four nights here and loved it. It is old and the sofas are a bit threadbare but for me this contributed to its charm. The location is excellent as the whole area is interesting and there are good restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The hotel does make you feel that you are in a pre war... More

For starters ...we did not stay here.We wanted to hear classic Klezmer music in an historic location...maybe with some desserts on the side.....I don't know what the rooms would be like, but the 'dining room' was very musty, the staff,..rather half -hearted and the music...so disappointing,..if we wanted jazz, we would have found jazz...where was the classic sound of the... I really really wanted to like this place - for my own psychological reasons I felt I owed it to the Jews of Krakow to exhibit an affinity for the place, the cooking and the music. It was old world atmospheric (so that was a good start), but to me the food was terrible and nothing like the dishes my... More

We chose this hotel to stay in the heart of the Jewish quarter of Krakow, and are we glad we did! If you're looking for all "mod-cons" this hotel is not for you. If you want history, culture, authenticity, period furnishings & a wonderful Jewish meal & music evening then book today! The staff were efficient if not particularly forth-coming.... More

Curiosity, not other reviews, made me stay here. Very pleased I did. Late 19th Century feel to the place and an interior design/elegance to match. Yes it does smell a little musty...but it is a very old building....something that people need to take into account. Room was cleaned every day and the staff were all very helpful. The breakfast, for... More
