We chose this hotel as we wanted to experience a traditional place. We are so happy we did. Hotel was full of character and very clean. We stayed in room 28 which was at the top, and our bathroom was just outside our room but it's still within your main door so don't let it put you of. Very helpfull... More

We were fortunate to be seated for dinner at Klezmer Hois for the klezmer concert and dinner. The musicians (Magda Bruzinska trio) provided beautiful music which was the highlight of our visit to Krakow. And the food was outstanding in every way.

We had lunch in Klezmer Hois restaurant and it was a delicious experience. The staff was attentive and kind. We ordered home made ice tea and it was just perfect. Then we had soup and main course, both tasted like at home. The meals did not have a single negative to point out. Beef was soft and easy to eat.... More

Let's start with the positives: the two blonde staff members are the only reason this isn't a 1 star, I would happily marry either. Negatives: The place smells like 60 year old custard, the place and rooms predate the bible and you'd get a better sleep outside on the street. The shower is ice cold and pretty sure the place... I have stayed at the Klezmer House on three occasions and will come back again. The Hotel is quaint and comfy though not without drawbacks like bathrooms across the hallway or creaky floorboards, but it is different than the corporate uniformity of the "standard" hotels. The Hotel is decorated in the early 20th century style with lots of antique furniture... More

Stayed here with my brothers on a bro trip and had a great time. Krakow was beautiful and welcoming and this sweet place had everything we needed including live music once a week! The hotel is walking distance to bars, restaurants and museums of old city and Jewish neighborhood. Ironically, everyone playing klezmer in the hotel band was not Jewish... More

The friendliest staff we've met who spoke excellent English. The hotel was kind enough to keep our luggage for a night even though we were checking in only the day after (so we didn't have to drag the big bag all the way to Zakopane). Unique athmosphere, like living inside a museum. A bit worn down and gloomy but that... More

Huge room; bedroom and sitting room. Bathroom very nice and clean. Rooms are done in an "old fashion" elegant decor. There is a nice restaurant on premises as well as a (good) free breakfast. The tram running outside the hotel a little noisy, but not bad. Location is good (Kazimierz quarter). Tram (#24) runs from the train station to the... More

on this first (but not last) visit to Krakow, we really enjoyed the Klezmer Hois - charming, historic setting in the revitalizing Kazimierz quarter - very near Wawel Castle, train station, and Market Square, but enough off the beaten path so you're not inundated with the tourist world. The breakfast buffet was delicious, staff was knowledgeable and helpful, and rooms... More

Perfect stay, good breakfast and nice service. The location is the best. everything you want is in the jewish quarter, especially the kosher restaurants are vwry good. And the live klezmerband is a good atmosphere.
