I have stayed in this hotel twice over the past couple of years and think it's an excellent base. You are not even a five minute walk from Alchemia and the square in the jewish quarter, where there are plenty of bars around. Rooms seemed slightly more dated this year than my first impression in 2006, but the bathrooms are... more

I stayed there with friends for 3 nights in June. Apart from the weather we had a lovely time. Hotel a bit far our for my liking but thats personal taste. Clean bedrooms and bathroom. Very pleasant reception area with very helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel if you like being on the "outskirts" of the main square but... more

I recently stayed at the Regent with a group of friends in May of 2009. The hotel is in a great location, the up-and-coming Kazimierz section of the city. Only a block from several tram stops and an easy walk to the market square. It is particularly close to Wawel Castle. There were several very good restaurants in the area... more

We stayed at the Regent for 4 nights and were very pleased. The room was clean and well decorated, bathroom spotless. TV in room but no English channels but were too tired at night to watch much anyway! The breakfast buffet gave a good selection of cereals, bread, meats, hard boiled eggs, cheeses and also hot sausages & scrambled eggs.... more

We stayed in the Regent over New Year with our three teenage kids. The hotel was full of character and our rooms were large, warm and very clean. There was no street noise at all although I can imagine that might change in the summer months. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were really pleased that we stayed in... more

We booked and paid for a 3 night stay at the Regent about 3 months ago. Upon reading (some) other reviews about guests not getting to stay there due to 'plumbing faults' etc. and being sent to the Monopol hotel (read past reviews) I thought 'I don't want this to happen to us' so I emailed the hotel a week... more

I recently stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms are all clean and serviced daily. The bathrooms are on the colourful side (burgundy) but they are spotless and well stocked up with complimentary shampoo/soap etc. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is 3 tram stops... more

Just got back from a 40th Birthday break over the 19th to 21st of Sept. 3 double rooms were booked using 'Alpha Rooms' and everything was as booked upon arrival. We chose this hotel for its quieter location in the Kazmierz (Jewish) quarter, which is only a 15 minute stroll from the main square. The reception staff are very friendly... more
