Whilst staying at a different hotel, we ate in the restaurant in the courtyard on the first night of our stay. the two waitresses who served us were brilliant in everything they did. one girl was new and when cutting the duck in half was very nervous but we all laughed while she did it and had a thoroughly good... I was with the same group as another reviewer, "John." I agree with him. Very nice, refurbished hotel right in the heart of the old city. Clean, comfortable rooms with a good breakfast, although breakfast room was indeed cramped Staff went out of their way to give good advice; reception person gave extremely good advice on money changing: where to... Located centrally in the old town this heritage hotel is tucked down a side street away from the noise of this vibrant city. The room was spacious and well-appointed and the bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A bonus was the ironing room which becomes essential during a long trip. The breakfast room was a little... More

I initially thought that the location would make for a lot of noise from passers-by, particularly since there was a popular french restaurant behind the hotel, and slightly less popular polish, italian and mexican restaurants on either side and infront of it. But it turned out that I was mistaken. The room was well furnished and very spacious, the staff... More

Enjoyed recent stay here. Hotel beautifully restored with really charming rooms. Has restaurant next door. Good breakfast until 11am, so possible for a nice restful stay. Coffee machine (free coffee available) was out of order! Rooms very nice, all different. Each floor in hotel is decorated differently. Ask to see a choice of rooms :-) Given nice guided tour by... My boyfriend and I stayed at the Wawel for 3 nights (Thurs-Sun) while in Krakow. You cannot get any better than the location of this hotel!! It is right in Old Town, only a 5 minute walk to the main square. The rooms are very comfortable. We were on the second floor facing the street (above the main entrance) and... More

Stayed March 2012. A very affordable and centrally located hotel. Quiet, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice little orangery courtyard, exceptionally nice, efficient and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

We stayed 5 nights in June 2014. Our double room on the 3rd floor was clean, comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated in a classic style. The hotel’s location in Old Town Krakow is very convenient to restaurants and to the main square. The buffet breakfast was good but the room is dark & cramped. A card on the table says... More

Look no further if you want to find a very good Hotel in a perfect location for both the main square and the almost equally appealing Jewish Quarter of Kazimierz. I have been visiting Krakow for years and this is easily the best Hotel in this price range I have stayed in. It is set in a quiet location off... More
