We spent a couple of nights in June 09 at this excellent hotel right in the centre of Krakow. The staff are very helpful and obliging. We had a really nice big room which had a lounge area, in addition to the bedroom space. The room was very comfortable and well furnished and decorated. Hotel Wawel enjoys a good location,... more

The place has a perfect location - it takes less then 5 minutes to walk to the main square, and 15-20 to walk to the train station. The room we got was on the first floor. It was big - two rooms and a newly renovated bathroom. The room was quite cold when we checked in, but got warm quite... more

A friend and I spent five days earlier this month and were very impressed with everything about this hotel. It was very central but in a quiet street. Our room was a reasonable size and very clean. We didnot have air conditioning and when it was very warm,we were lent a fan. We found the staff always friendly and doing... more

Before arrival in Krakow, we had to mess the hotel about a bit changing quantity of rooms which we needed, but they never lost their patience & were always flexible. This hotel is ideal in every way, its location is on a lovely quiet street yet turn out of the hotel & take another right & you are right on... more

We stayed at the Hotel Tourist Wawel in June 2007 and were pleasantly surprised. We arrived at the hotel at around 10pm and were greeted by friendly and efficient reception staff who spoke excellent English (and seemed to appreciate it when we tried to greet them in Polish). We were pleased to see the hotel's restaurant was still open and... more

We celebrated New Year in Krakow (which we'd done last year). Last year we stayed at the Europejski which is a very short walk from the train station although slightly longer walk into Rynek Glowny (the main square). It's not a huge distance though but the position of the Wawel is just off Grodska and therefore much more central. Wawel... more

We stayed here for four nights whilst visiting Krakow and the Christmas Market. The room was very large with a separate sitting area, large bathroom and all in all was very spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect; 5 mins to the Rynek Glowny and 10 minutes to Wawel Castle. There is a restaurant attached to the... more
