I stayed at the Ester with my husband for 5 nights, we really did appreciate the quality and good standard that this hotel offered. The staff were very curtious and very obliging if we needed anything. Our room over looked the main square, it was spacious, airy and the air conditioning was available .... at no extra cost. The food... more

Our stay was very enjoyable. Out of four Krakow hotels we stayed in (including the highest rated at the time) this was the best in my opinion. Good points included air conditioning, courteous staff, excellent restaurant and interesting location. more

This hotel is in an excellent location. You can walk to main square in approximately 15 mins and the walk is very nice taking you past the castle. The Ester sits in a square full of eateries, we tried a fair few of them and enjoyed them all. The Ariel being a favorite for beer and vodka after a day... more

Stayed at the Ester for five nights in June 2008 with my husband. Hotel was quite pleasant and bedrooms seem recently (ish) refurbished. Although the choice of cream coloured carpets has led to some unsightly stains :( We were staying in room 32 on the third floor which meant we had very small windows. The window poles projected from the... more

We had originally booked with Columbus through octopustravel, whose bookings are handled by Gullivers Travel Associates. Upon arrival we were informed that the hotel was full, and had to be transferred to another one, although we were never before informed even of the possibility of something like that. Anyhow, that's how we ended up in Ester in a very bad... more

Stayed here for three nights in April 2008. Excellent hotel and great location in the heart of the most interesting part of Krakow, the Jewish area. The hotel is surrounded by many great restaurants. It is possible to walk to the main square in 10-15 minutes or take the tram from the stop on Straswilsna (two minutes from the hotel).... more

We stayed at the Hotel Ester for 2 nights in early March after reading some good reviews on this site. The hotel lived up to our expectations and we got exactly what we had hoped for. The room was very large comfy with views of the square. The decor was in good order and the bathroom was nicely fitted out,... more

Ester Hotel overlooks nice square in Kazimierz, the Jewish quarter. Loads of nice bars/restaurants round the square and adjacent area and easy 10 mins walk to Rynek Glowny past Wawel Castle. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful-providing maps/phoning taxis etc. First floor corner room was massive with windows onto square-decor was fresh, clean, stylishly minimal with comfy beds and flat... more

We have just returned from a four night stay in the Ester and would recommend it. It is located about 15 minutes walk from the Old Town in a quiet and very historic part of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The room was smallish but clean, very warm and the beds were... more
