Just returned from a four night stay at the Ester - Cannot fault at all. Situated in the Old Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz District) in Touristy square - Staff most helpful, room(14) adequate but not spectacular, (92 Euros per night - single room) so in my opinion, a tad pricy. 2 minutes walk from nearest tram stop, 20 mins walk from... more

Great location if you want to visit the jewish part of town, with a lovely square with great cafes and bars. Rooms were nice and comfy. Staff were not friendly in the morning at breakfast, and we felt as if we were bothering them. Also be careful of the ultra friendly porter who will arrange a taxi (to airport) at... more

Just got back from Krakow and a stay at Hotel Ester. The hotel organised for a taxi to collect us from the airport and when we arrived at hotel the welcome from the female receptionist was very good and our first impressions were positive. The room (number 25) overlooked the square and was spotlessly clean and well appointed.. The food... more

Located right in the main square of the Jewish Quarter, next door to the most famous synagogue in Poland and next door but one to Helena Rubenstein's birthplace, this hotel is a little gem. It has a lovely dining room/bar area and during the evening its quite pleasant to have a night cap and enjoy the atmosphere. Breakfast is very... more

A lovely hotel with large clean rooms, a great restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff...unfortunately there is a kareoke night in the cellars under the hotel on a friday night( nothing to do with the hotel itself) and this went on until 5 in the morning ...not really conducive to a great night's sleep! Shame because otherwise this hotel... more

Like a previous reviewer in this column, we also booked for the Columbus and were re-directed here and i can guarantee it is not the reviewers website that was the problem but the hotel as we used a different website entirely. On arrival as we were a bit upset about the situation, the man at the reception desk was very... more

We booked 2 triple rooms for 6 adults and had plenty of space for the 3 of us in each room , the staff were very attentative and helpful, the breakfast was just what was needed... more

This is the second time this year we stayed at Hotel Ester and both stays were fantastic. My friend and I both felt very safe and happy during our stay (two women on our own) Krakow is a spectacular place with lots to see and do, we stayed longer this time than the time before but still have many places... more

We have recently returned from a 9 night stay at the Ester. The staff were very friendly however attention to detail is lacking e.g the breakfast buffet was not checked enough/items re plenished. The breakfast was generally good with a wide choice and the staff were happy to provide cooked eggs and sausage. The cream carpet in the bedroom was... more
