I had an average experience at Hotel Ester. It is located right in the Jewish Quarter, so you have some interesting attractions right next to where you are staying. The hotel reception staff helped arrange a trip to Auschwitz for me which was helpful. The room had a complimentary bottle of water and coffee / tea making facilities which was... More

I stayed in the Ester Hotel, Krakow with my husband during our honeymoon. The room was good size with large bed & bathtub for 2, food was very tasty and staff always smiling and beyond helpful. With their restaurant downstairs including live music we got a free entertainment every night. Would highly recommend it! We'll definitely be staying there on... More

Looking around at the other hotels in Kraków we were well pleased with our choice as it was perfect location in the middle of the old Jewish Quarter. Not a modern hotel but very authentic and lovely to hear the Jewish music playing in the afternoon. Breakfast was generous selection and we had a nice view out on to the... More

If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful place to stay in the Jewish district of Krakow, this is worth a look. The rooms, although not quite as they appear on the hotel's website are well equipped and clean. Having said that, the hotel is quite dark and has a 'gloomy' feel to it and I would not have... More

If you're wanting to stay in the old Jewish centre of Krakow, close to the Old City, then I highly recommend Hotel Ester. It is a beautiful little street close to the Old City, that was once the Jewish hub of the city. Now it is a street full of cafes, restaurants, and small hotels converted from what once were... More

Overall Hotel Ester is a very nice place to stay and is right in the middle of the old Jewish Quarter of Krakow. We loved our room, but unfortunately we couldn't keep our windows open due to the excessive smoking at the hotel's outdoor cafe just beneath our room. We did enjoy listening to the Klezmer Music that came through!!... More

Where sent here because our original hotel had air conditioning problems for one night, sorry we had to leave it although it is a bit out of the way from the city centre, however staff were friendly and the food was excellent would really recommend it, the Jewish quarter of krakow well worth a visit

Stayed here in 2009, loved it, staff were so helpful, we took my Grandson who was 3 months old and the staff couldn't do enough. Room was lovely and big and they supplied a travel cot for the baby, complete with blue covers and sheets which we thought was a nice touch. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice and cooked... More

This hotel has been rated variously as 3 and 4 star, but it is much more like 3 star. We had a smooth check-in and our request for another member of our party to be close to our room was met. Rooms are quite dark (heavy furniture and carpets, curtains not fully open) and old-fashioned (we had to push the... More

Hotel Ester is a lovely hotel to stay in which is situated in the Old Jewish Quarters. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom modern with complimentary toiletries and the room had air conditioning and coffee/tea facilities with also a mini bar. The only downside was that the rooms were rather dark, could have done with brighter lights. The hotel staff... More
