Overall Hotel Ester is a very nice place to stay and is right in the middle of the old Jewish Quarter of Krakow. We loved our room, but unfortunately we couldn't keep our windows open due to the excessive smoking at the hotel's outdoor cafe just beneath our room. We did enjoy listening to the Klezmer Music that came through!!... More

Where sent here because our original hotel had air conditioning problems for one night, sorry we had to leave it although it is a bit out of the way from the city centre, however staff were friendly and the food was excellent would really recommend it, the Jewish quarter of krakow well worth a visit

Stayed here in 2009, loved it, staff were so helpful, we took my Grandson who was 3 months old and the staff couldn't do enough. Room was lovely and big and they supplied a travel cot for the baby, complete with blue covers and sheets which we thought was a nice touch. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice and cooked... More

This hotel has been rated variously as 3 and 4 star, but it is much more like 3 star. We had a smooth check-in and our request for another member of our party to be close to our room was met. Rooms are quite dark (heavy furniture and carpets, curtains not fully open) and old-fashioned (we had to push the... More

Hotel Ester is a lovely hotel to stay in which is situated in the Old Jewish Quarters. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom modern with complimentary toiletries and the room had air conditioning and coffee/tea facilities with also a mini bar. The only downside was that the rooms were rather dark, could have done with brighter lights. The hotel staff... More

This boutique hotel provides charm, friendly service and an ideal location, right on the main square, for exploring the old Jewish quarter of Krakow. Rooms are old style, a little dark and basic but the bed was comfortable, the bathroom is updated and breakfast is great. A tour company they recommended completely screwed up, but the hotel did everything possible... More

The hotel is located in the Jewish quarter of Krakow on a square with little traffic. The room I got was in the back of the property so it was quiet. It was good sized and the decor old world charm, but the bathroom was thoroughly modern. The air conditioner worked perfectly and was a welcome relief from the high... More

The location of the Ester Hotel was brilliant. It was close to the Old Market Square and it was right by the stretch of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself was rather claustrophobic. Very small reception area, everything in the room seemed to be crammed as well. The view from the window was better with the curtains shut! I would... More

If you are a light sleeper you should not choose this hotel. Tourists are passing by very loudly and very late - the walls appear to be thin - you can hear what they are talking about in the next room (swedish!!). Staff is friendly but not especially serviceminded - more like routine. Young students probably. The room was fine... More

This hotel is lovely. Right in the middle of the Jewish quarter. Lovely spacious rooms. Only sampled the breakfast but that was lovely. Staff very helpful especially the driver service they offer for trips. Ireneusz Wis was brilliant. Picked us up from our hotel in the morning and drive us to each trip all day long. Excellent day thanks to... More
