Stayed here with a group of 16 lads on a stag. Staff were reasonable considering our party. Helped us out ordering taxi's and basic local info. The room was clean if a little outdated. 10 minute walk to town. Good location, good value. more

We stayed at the Cracovia over Easter and got a very good deal on it so I did wonder if there was a reason for the price to be so relatively low. Needn't have worried though :-) Our room was pretty spacious with coffee making facilities, opening windows and a decent size bathroom with loads of hot water - furniture... more

My Mum and i stayed here for 3 nights on a weekend break and it was awful! The staff weren't very helpful, when we enquired about transport to the airport they said they didn't provide it and didn't offer any other suggestions. Although the room and bathroom were clean, it was extremely noisy; you could hear the constant traffic outside... more

Visited Cracovia again after 10 years and most were the same to be honest, but guest service has improved a lot! Hotelrooms are not very big but is equipped with all you need. Very good value for your money. Hotel is close to city centre and choose to walk or take a taxi wich is very cheap. The hotelbar attracts... more

Good hotel that fitted it's purpose. We paid £50 per room which seemed reasonable. The rooms are relatively spacious and clean. The showers were warm and powerful. My one complaint would be that the rooms were a little too warm and their were no controls to turn the heating down or off. The windows within the room do open. There... more

My friend and I booked this hotel as we had been recommended that the tour bus to Auschwitz left from this point. As it happens it leaves from various hotels and so we were slightly misled there. The hotel is 70's style but for the price we paid, we cannot complain and the rooms were extremely clean. We booked 2... more

I stayed at this hotel for the second year running after a pleasant stay perviously. This time however the hotel in their wisdom had allowed a party of Slovenia students to book in over the New Year. The hotel was immeiately turned into a youth hostel with juveniles camping out in the corridors, vomiting in the elevatores and an creating... more

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Cracovia from Tuesday 10th February till Saturday 13th February. The hotel was easy to find. We got the bus from the airport, and had been told it was right beside the football ground. From the outside it looked very ugly and a definite throwback to the Communist years that had dominated Poland... more

While the Cracovia is most certainly not the most modern hotel in the 21st century Cracow, it is very clean, still good value for money with very good quality of service, which should come as no surprise, as the personnel is Orbis trained. The hotel certainly benefits from a 5 star location, walking distance from the old market square, easy... more

Just returned from the Cracovia which was our first visit to Poland/Krakow, we were somewhat worried after reading some peoples reviews, however please ignore these as its an excellent hotel in a good location, only a 10 minute walk to the main Market Square. The staff were helpful, very well spoken & even offered a safety deposit box which is... more
