This hotel is just a short walk from both the main square and the main shopping area in Krakow. It has old world charm, but really it could do with a little redecoration. While the high ceilings and old fashioned feel is nice, the browns in the wallpaper and curtains can be a little drab. However the breakfast is good,... More

like going back in time with grand entrance hall and elegant funiture, the staff are welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious and well eqiupped. An excellent choice at breakfast including bacon and eggs, lunch is silver service three courses about £4.00 from 1pm to 8pm. Its location is close to main square surrounded by beautiful architecture cafes shops etc. A... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Francuski Hotel. Firstly, the old-world charm of the lobby and the room sets the mood. Our room was extremely spacious and comfortable. it was very hot while we were in Krakow and there is no AC in the room, only a fan,l but the room was quite well insulated so we weren't really... Amazing Hotel, with amazing staff and even more amazing breakfast. Rooms are specious and have no AC, only a fan. Old feel but that's what it makes this hotel special. We stayed in room 208 with balcony which is one of the best rooms. Highly recommended to all.

This was the leading hotel in Krakow a hundred or more years ago, and something of the glitz remains in the grand foyer, beautiful staircase and most of all in the professionalism and pride of the staff. By todays standards, some things are lacking - for example air-conditioning, but the staff kindly provided a fan without my prompting. The room... More

This hotel has something like 100 years old and is lovely! It is a classic hotel, full of style and charm! It has a really great location (3 min walking to the main square and 10min to the train station) and the service is perfect. The staff was really helpful and they are always ready to help you. The rooms... More

Stayed there 5 nights in early August 2015. Location is fantastic...right near the Market Square (2 minute walk), tucked in among beautiful old houses and a church. Hotel has a nostalgic ambience like from the 1930's...art deco. Breakfast was excellent in terms of both variety and flavor...a very pleasant surprise as usually breakfasts are pretty mediocre in affordable hotels. The... More

This hotel is a lovely hotel in Krakow, very helpful staff and very nice breakfasts and dinners.Within walking distance of the main square, castle,Jewish district etc.But try not to get the room at the top of the stairs on floor 4.Nothing wrong with the room(no lounge) but the outlook is a dismal courtyard.especially when my friends had bedroom, lounge etc overlooking the street...
