What a very pleasant hotel to stay. Very near the square and the Christmas market that we came to see. Plenty of bars and restaurants to try and all reasonably priced. In fact unbelievably cheap. But couldn't fault the food. The staff here were very friendly and our room was at the back and quiet. Only a little bit of... More

We stayed in Hotel Francuski for 4 days, 2 weeks ago. The location was perfect--2/3 minutes walking distance to the old town square. The hotel has retained an old world charm, while very comfortable for modern day travellers. The elegant old staircase adds to the atmosphere and gives it character. Our bedroom was spacious, very clean and warm with a... More

My mother and I stayed in this hotel Friday 5th of December till Monday 9th of December. The hotel staff were very friendly (minus one middle ages woman who looked like she didnt want to be there) and helped us get checked in quickly after our Jet 2 flight failed to land and we were subject to an 8 hours... It's past glory may have faded a little over it's 100 year history, but this hotel is an elegant, comfortable place to stay. The rooms are well equipped (including tea & coffee maker) and elderly stylish. Front rooms were a bit noisy at weekend. Location is ideal, 250m from old square, 200m to nearest trams and a 10 minute stroll... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel had lovely character to it. Every where spotless, staff very pleasant. Location is perfect, literly around corner from old town market.breakfast was nice and a choice of hot breakfast. One downfall was no room service, one night we were particulary hungry and fancied a snack but no option for food. But apart from that... More

Grandeur of a bygone area, staff are very friendly and the breakfast had a really good selection of food. Don't stay here if you want modern Krakow but highly recommend if you want to go back a hundred years in time with mod coms thrown in. Loved it!!
