Bought the room for cheap price on another website. Hotel were very helpful and responsive about airport transfers and surprise wine for the room. Very relaxed yet impressive decor throughout hotel, restaurant is wonderful. Only a few small issues; The "Fitness Center" is 2 small workout machines and very small weights behind a door marked Hotel Management.Better not offer that... More

Don't be under any illusions, whilst this place claims to be 4* it definitely ain't. However, what it is is a basic, clean, inexpensive hotel close to everything. And if that is all you're looking for in a Krakow hotel then you can't go far wrong with this place. All the other reviewers are raving about the old-fashioned style opulence,... More

If you’re feeling nostalgic for the world as it was before the First World War and you’d like to experience the feel of a grand hotel from that era then this is certainly the place for you. Opened in 1912 the Francuski feels as if the modern world has passed it by. Most of the original fixtures and fittings are... More

Location could not have been better...a 5 min walk from the main square in Krakow. Rooms were large and reasonably well equipped. Beautiful old-world decor. Price was very cheap. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Downsides include the provided breakfast (very limited options) and the shower facilities (luke- warm, fiddly controls and low pressure). Also, depending on the location of... More

The hotel is in a perfect location, five minutes walk from the square. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, they booked our taxis to and from airport, and booked our trips, all were punctual, nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was grand and vintage, if your looking for modern this is not the hotel for you, everywhere is... More

We read many reviews before booking our 3 night stay here, many varied reviews were read. I have to say we loved it here, close to the main square ( 5 minutes walk ) 10 minute walk to the train and bus station. Close to the many many bars and restaurants. The Hotel is a old reminder of grand hotels... More

I have recently returned from Krakow with my partner, and we both had such a good time, I couldn't wait to share my experience. The hotel Francuski is like taking a step back in time. It is a very old hotel, but is well kept, and if you like old this is the place to be. the hotel has such... More

Very Olde Worldie with its red carpet and grand staircase although a bit tired looking and in need of redecorating. Having said that it was very clean and breakfast was good even though we had to ask and wait for bacon and eggs each morning. Rooms were good (again clean but in need of redecoration). A bit noisy late at... More

I immediately loved this hotel the moment the door was opened for me and I walked into the main reception room. Looking past the grand father clock to the sweeping stairs which are carpeted in a vivid Red. This hotel was once the best in town and it tells a story, one it is easy to see it. It is... More
