Ventus Rosa is a nineteenth century townhouse about a 10 minute walk from the main square. The reception is rather gloomy, like a 1960s film noir, but stick with it - it gets better. The staff are chatty and pleasant and the rooms very spacious for the price. We had a two bedroom apartment on the third floor (no elevator!),... More

We stayed in the Ventus Rosa Apartments for 4 nights and had a brilliant experience. Apartment was huge with separate kitchen, a bedroom and a beautiful bathroom. Everything you could possibly want, microwave, kettle, good selection of cups, plates, pots and pans, complementary tea & coffee and bottled water, coffee machine, fridge, mini bar (at a cost), washing up liquid,... Our smaller room was very nice and the bathroom was super. It was great to have a walk in shower, after all the climb over the bath showers we experienced everywhere else. They did lack some basic kitchen utensils in the smaller rooms, but were good and found us a toaster after enquiring at the front desk. We went out... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Ventus Rosa Apartments. The building is beautiful, both inside and out.The studio itself was finished to a high standard, in particular the bathroom. One slight issue would be the rather basic selection of cooking utensils, although this is a common problem in holiday accommodation. The 24 hour reception was handy, and the free bikes... More

This place is tops. The staff are super and like to chat with the visitors. They just added a breakfast on site that was very proper. When booking I would suggest contacting them directly to insure getting a larger room. The smaller rooms are well done but it appears that the larger ones my be the same price. If you... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. The first 2 nights we were in a small room and were upgraded for the last 3 nights to a larger room with a washing machine. The first was fine but the larger much better and we were not charged for the change. The front desk staff are all sweet helpful young women. They... More

Fabulous apartment near the Old Town Square. Roomy, clean, huge bathroom with added bonus of a bath. Complimentary bathroom supplies, tea, coffee etc. Was pleasantly surprised to see a washing machine in the room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Pleasant, helpful reception staff. Loved our stay here, could not have asked for a better stay. Very reasonably priced. Would highly... More

Our apartment bedroom was small, but we had a kitchen with a good sized table and a washing machine, which was fantastic. We were able to wash and dry our clothes each night. The apartment is in a quiet area near the Russian Consulate and a very close walk to the old town and also the bus/train station and the... More
