Less than £30 for two for a night with breakfast. Those whose list this hotel anything less than average clearly have expectations not in line with what they paid (which I get very bored of on Trip Advisor). I think this must have been a 'Grand' hotel in its day. You walk into marble steps and a great reception area... More

Not really what you expect from a hostel, its more like a hotel. Its also more expensive than a hostel. Anyway, the rooms are nice with a good tv and an own bathroom that is nice and clean. Towels and soap is supplied by Gryf.

Gryf is divided in two, one side is modern and clean the other is old (from the 60's minus) and very dirty, old and the matress and pilows uterly disqusting, despite this, they charge the same price and its hard for tourists if they do not know the town well and what other hotel options may have. The staff (well... More

Positives: - location - clean room - price Negatives - hotel wifi not working (weak signal) - thin walls (in the nearby room they had a long talk starting at 4 am ... I've heard everything) OK for 2 nights and the price.

The hotel is very nice. The internet is totally missing along with the heating. No room service, but very nice personal. The location of the hotel is central and near there are a lot of pizza places, pubs and supermarkets.

The cheapest hotel I could find in Szczecin located in the city centre. The location is great, you can walk anywhere in the city centre, close to bars, restaurants and night clubs. Staff is kind and helpful and rooms are clean. Rooms are divided into smoking, and no-smoking ones (disadvatage is that rooms where you can smoke tend to stink... More

The hotel was probably one of the best in the historic Eastblock time, and the interior has been renovated and renewed - except, it seems, the beds. The springs felt like nails and the pillow was very uncomfortable. On top of that, which did not make our stay any more enjoyable, we had the window smashed on our car parked... More

I visited Czczecin out of curiosity and chose Hotel Gryf for Location and Price. I flew into Goleniow Airport with Ryanair from Edinburgh then took the Interglobus Coach into Czczecin. The bus fare is approximately 20 Zlotys. It is advisable to book the tickets in advance as places (approx 20) are limited. In Czczecin, tickets can be purchased only from... More

Arriving in the morning it was possible to deposit our luggage and having our breakfast before we entered the city. Extras size bedroom ment bathroom, bedroom and a livingroom having 3 sleeps. To use all sleeps we had to wake up 2 times each night changing beds :)
