The hotel lies next to the famous Marienborg/Malbork castle so you have a short walk to the entrance. The room was a bit old and dark but you may see this as part of the history of the castle. The small TV had a very limited number of channels and reception was not very good (a lot of “snow”) My... More

Hotel Zamek (or Hotel Zamkowy) obviously serves mostly one night visitors coming to see the castle, and occasionaly the random Polish weekend-eer. I visited during winter, so my experience may differ a bit to a summer experience. In general, although the public areas and rooms were a bit dark and old fashioned, I had a comfortable stay. Althouth it is... More

We took the train to Malbork with all our luggage as we were continuing on to Warsaw the next day. After a wonderful tour of the castle it was really nice to have an excellent (and very filling) half duck for dinner. I would recommend the hotel for months when you can keep the window open for both the brightness... More

We stayed at the Zamek Hotel for one night only. It's old historic building old XV hospital , can be little bite strange for typical west turist......(size of the walls !!) but rooms / bathrooms were clean, no a/c but frankly inside is always cool. Breakfast was good, and main attraction Malbork Castle just few steps from hotel. After 3... More

Whereas a previous reviewer had put down this hotel, we found it all very nice, very quiet, pleasant, and comfortable. Yes, furniture, carpets, light fixtures etc. are all out of date, but they are all in good order. The bed was wonderful, and we had a superb night, being at the quietest spot in all of Poland, it seems. Being... More

Hotel Zamek in Malbork is situated next to the Medieval castle of Malbork - the hotel's building is actually a part of the castle's complex and it used to host a Teutonic hospital. Therefore, the hotel's location is perfect for visiting the castle and for feeling the gothic atmosphere of the place. The castle is right next to the town... More

We stayed at the Zamek Hotel for one night. It's obvious that this place has somewhat of a monopoly on tourists visiting the Malbork Castle. Everything in the hotel needs updating because it's stuck in the 70's. However, the rooms were clean, the restaurant was good, and you couldn't beat the location-right next to the castle. If we had to... More
