We decided to book hotel for holiday wekend quite late, so most of hotels or guesthoses were already fully booked. We managed to find free room in Pica Paca and BestWestern in Gdansk (for similiar price). We decided for Pica Paca. Pros: - great location (a few steps from old crane in old town) - huge space - apartment was... More

We had reserved a special room here and they told us there is a problem with your room. They sent us to another hotel which was quite nice. But this is absolutely not normal to be ejected from our reserved hotel!! No compensation... Do not sleep here, they cannot manage 8 rooms at the same time!!

Again hotel overbooked and obliged to stay in an other place. Looking at other reviews, this happens frequently, confirming the incompetency of the management. We had strictly no compensation, no feedback also confirming they just don't care of their clients.

Good location right next to the old town of Gdansk. The Frank Sinatra apartment was in three levels with a roof terrace at the top. Quiet surroundings, spacious apartment. Not really top condition but clean, friendly reception service! They have quite a choise of different apartments and hotel rooms/suites.

Just returned from a short break in Gdansk (3 nights) and chose this hotel online. Unsure of it as It was my first time in poland but WOW you cannot choose a better place to stay. After hours of driving and some additional time spent trying to find the hotel we were happy t arrive at the Pica Paca Hotel only to find out that they had overbooked and did not have our "guaranteed" room for us. While the receptionist was trying very, very hard to help there wasn't much she could do other than show... More

This was our first time in Gdansk and it all was so surprisingly positive. We had a great trip with taxi from the airport and they found Pica Paca with no problems. We came to a nice reseption and the man explained us everything. Than he showed us the way to the 150sqm apartment. There was an elevator but it... More

I spent one night at this hotel. Set in a former townhouse in a not-so-lovely but well located street next to other similar houses turned into hotels, Pica paca is a god choice for someone who is a sound sleeper - the curtains allow all the light in and there is no sound isolation to speak about - and the... We stayed here in a large group and all really enjoyed it, with a few minor problems. The booking was for 3 large apartments, we got 1 large and 3 medium apartments, which wasn't really a big problem. We only had one set of fobs per room, which you needed to get in the main doors, this was quite a... More
