I booked a long weekend at Kobza Haus for an autumn break in 2013. I chose the hotel as I prefer to give my money to individual, independently-run hotels with some character, rather than the large faceless chains. Usually this works out fine, but on this occasion I have to say we were most disappointed and I would not recommend... More

Some basics are right. Breakfast is good, staff is really friendly and nice and location is very good indeed. Unfortunately some things are really bad. The hotel is extremely noisy, one can hear everything across the walls, there is occasionally a huge smell of sewer, extra bed quality is as bad as it can get, TV has only Polish channels.... More

The hotel is located right outside the "Main town" across the river, literally 1 minute walk from Dluga Street and 30 seconds away from the river. There is a taxi stop right in front of the hotel. Our room was small but very clean. The bed was comfortable, especially the pillows. The bathroom had a shower with good pressure and... More

The hotel is nice and centrally located, but we had a problem with the noise coming from the bar-party area opposite the hotel. We decided to check-out the next day but the hotel refused to return the remaining two nights we had prepaid! The hotel basically claimed that as others had not complained our complaint must also be groundless, and... More

Very good location, just 2 minute walk from the old part of the city and the main attractions as well as shopping is in walking distance. Nice staff and clean, small rooms. Wifi worked well. Easy to arrive to this location by taxi or car.

We arrived at Kobza Haus for (sadly) only one night, as we were changing hotels the following day. Upon retrospect, we wish we'd just stayed at Kobza Haus for our entire stay in Gdansk. Our room (#24) was small but exceptionally clean, had a large bed (with chocolates on each pillow), beautiful wood floors, and great big windows that made... More

We went there for the New Year's Eve, attracted by its convenient price and the handy location. It is just two minutes away from Gdansk main street in the old city. The staff were helpful and kind in providing the essential information we required. They gave us the room straight away though we arrived before the check-in time. The room... More

Enjoyed the place, very cozy and situated at the heart of Gdnask just across the bridge and you are in the old city, very clean with an OK breakfast, staff was quite friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Gdnask, you will have an unforgettable experience.
