I stayed in this hotel 2 years ago when my choir visited Gdansk, and had very good memories. I wasn't disappointed this time. The newly refurbished breakfast room was a very pleasant addition to the facilities, as was the new lounge. The lack of restaurant and bar is not a problem as there is a very reasonable restaurant within easy... More

This hotel is quite basic and not in the center (but still 15-20 minutes walking) but it is very cheap and it's clean and with a good service. The structure has been refurnished and for the price you pay is excellent. More

The experience is awful, you will be shocked there is not elevator! no telephone inside the rooms, no aircon, not any kind of assistance. the hotel looks very old building. the view of other building as well make you wonder about the degree of safety More

On one hand it's only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station and bus terminal, and it's near the Roads to Freedom exhibition and Monument to the Fallen Shipyard Workers. On the other hand it's a 20-30 minute walk to the charming historic center's restaurants, sights, and shops. Right up until you open the door and step inside you'll... More

Myself and partner stayed at the Gryf for 3 nights and it is close to the Solidarity monument and square and next to the shipyard. Quite interesting to read and look at the memorial statues etc. It is not in the nicest area but excellent for the centre and train station. The rooms were nice and spacious but no brewing... More

We booked the hotel mainly due to its price and location close to the centre. While not in the pretties area of town it was half the price of central properties and the rooms were more than adequate, the staff helpful and friendly and it was no more than 15 minutes to the centre of town. We booked direct with... More

We booked in a the gryf hotel because it was the cheapest and the photo looked ok. The hotel was once an old hospital and looks a bit run down from the outside. The hotel reception is brand new and very clean, the reception staff are friendly and speak good English. We booked a single and a double room and... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights last week.I was a little nervous as there were no reviews on this site, and I always check TA before I book a hotel. The hotel is situated next to the entrance to the shipyard. It has only been recently converted, having previously been a hospital. There are 2 buildings linked together, one is the hotel and... More
