We spent a weekend in this place with my family. Nice, clean, and wide rooms, helpful staff and believe me - exhaustive breakfast with a lot of delicious food. All you need to spend a great time. The only con (?) is that it is located relatively far from Gdansk centre, however bus stop is near and the railway station... More

Stayed at this hotel for the weekend during a trip to Gdansk. The hotel is located between the center of the city of Gdansk and Sopot (seaside resort). In a quiet area of Gdansk-Oliwa. To stop SKM Gdansk-Oliwa 5 minutes walk, from 10 minutes and you're on the shore of the Baltic Sea in Sopot, or 15 minutes in the... More

Hotel situated ideally for looking around Oliwa district and Gdansk city. Taxi into city takes around 20 minutes and costs betwen £10/12. Excellent hotel staff and nothing to much trouble - I am a Coeliac and have to eat gluten free and they catered for me excellently. Breakfast was to die for! It certainly kept you full all day. This is a lovely hotel, which felt more like a B&B because it was so homely. There were biscuits available on a cute plate in the entrance, umbrellas for guests to use, a fantastic airport transfer service, dvds to borrow and the most amazing breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel! They basically served us our very own buffet at... More

Wow! What a place! Everything you've read here about a friendly man behind the front desk--Bartek--is true and he speaks English beautifully. The rooms aren't the most modern-looking (think: wood paneling); but they are warm and unpretentious. The cleanliness of the place is excellent (not a speck of dust or dirt or grime in the bathroom). There are over 40... More

We booked on one of the booking sites (linked from here) and paid 166 pounds for four nights stay, breakfast included. Though this place is a few stops away on the train from the centre of Gdansk, it's ideally situated if you want to visit the surrounding area as well; from Oliwa (where Willa Albatros is located), we took a... After finally checking my map correctly, my Girlfriend and I found this hotel without issue. I wasn't sure what to expect from a non chain Polish Hotel (my first). The Hotel is based within a well to do residential area (Large houses, large dogs), tucked a few hundred metres from the Main Bus/Tram travel routes and has close access to... More

The care the staff takes at the Willa is amazing. Advise and help are easy to come by and the owner, sitting at his desk, always greets you with a smile. On New Years my girlfriend and I shared champagne and lit fireworks with him together in the street out front, I have never felt so welcome! Each room at... More

We only stayed one night but Bartosz at Reception made us very welcome. We liked the small touches like apples at reception, fluffy bathrobes & complimentary soft drinks(albeit a limited selection). The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. It is a short walk (10 mins) to the Oliwa PKP & 20 minutes into town but frequent trains &... More
