I stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend in the end of January 2014. Excellent location in the old town of Gdansk and the facilities and history itself makes the visit worthwhile. Cool to know that this in fact was the sec home of Copernicus... 😊 Highly recommended!

Old style gothic building in the very heart of Old Town. According to the gathered information the oldest one in Gdansk. Nice and comfortable. Very good breakfast served to the room. Perfect environment of numerous historic monuments. Going out directly to one of the most beautiful streets there and 200 m from the river boulevard. Highly recommended.

I'll start off by saying that we missed a connecting flight and the hotel was more than willing to cancel our first night free of charge. Many hotels wouldn't have done that. This small hotel is in the heart of the city, within walking distance of many beautiful old buildings, churches, and the waterfront. The room was so pretty with... More

I booked this independent, quaint, little hotel three months ago online. The night before our expected arrival I emailed again with our intended early arrival. I received a reply letting me know that our room had been 'destroyed' and that we had been booked at another hotel. We arrived at Gotyk House to be met by a polite, young receptionist... More

Dear quest, I do apologize for relocating you to another hotel which we had arranged for you. You were informed by receptionist about relocation since bathroom in the room of your choice was damaged and we had to fix it. Our receptionist Ann explained everything to you and offered you best option we could provide. Ann made it clear that... More

Very nice hotel in the very heart of Gdansk. Great service and nice breakfast, the only thing is that our room was in basement, though it was nice looking. Church is near the hotel, so be sure you will be waken up on time :)

Staying here really made our trip to Gdansk. It is located right in the heart of the old town, but on a quieter street away from the main tourist drag. We had a basement room which was lovely and cool on a very hot day. Really nice to sit outside on the terrace for breakfast, although there was no cooked... More

I've been in this cute hotel with my husband, travelling with motobike. Everything was really perfect. Gotyk house is situated in our of most ancient streets in Danzica, Known as "amber street". It is quite calm during the night while during the day you'll have lot's of nice shops to go around. Rooms are small but very comfortable and welll... More

We stayed at Gotyk House on the weekend of 20th June - 23rd June 2014. The location of the hotel is fantastic and was really impressed on arrival in Gdansk. When booking the hotel through a booking website, it was requested that we had a double room. However, on check in, we were allocated Room 2, which is usually a... More

As I wrote in the title to this review, Gotyk house deserves its high rating in TripAdvisor and other travel guides if for no other reason than its incredible location in Gdansk's oldest surviving house, steeped in historical connections of a distinctly romantic nature, on Gdansk's most charmingly quaint Old Town street, less than a couple of minutes by foot...
