I have recently returned from Gdansk with a friend and have stayed at Villa Angela for three nights and have a had a wonderful stay. The staff are both friendly and very helpful, the rooms are very clean and it is located close to Gdansk only 20 minutes downhill walk. I would not hesitate to go back, I loved Gdansk... more

We stayed at the Villa Angela in between Christmas and the New Year. Having read previous reviews we choose this hotel even though it was a bus ride into the Old Town of Gdansk, the bus stop is just over the road and buses are frequent. The staff were very helpful and professional, the rooms were clean, modern, warm and... more

Having read all the reviews for this hotel I had no difficulty in booking my 2 day stay there. Arrival was easy and took the suggestion to go by taxi - cheap - but the bus routes would have been easy also if the numbers had been known. The external appearance is excellent clean and tidy and welcoming. The front... more

Although I usually prefer a more central location for city breaks after reading the excellent reviews on this accommodation , I decided to take a chance on it. I was not disappointed. Excellent in every aspect. Although not asked for I was given room 311 on the top floor in the main building which has a balcony and has very... more

Really nice hotel. Don't try to get there on your own means for the first time, as the bus stop names are indicated in the bus, but neither anounced in the bus or clearly marked on the street. Once a taxi will have brought you there, it will be easy to ride the bus, which is a ten minutes ride... more

I stayed here for 3 nights in February with my husband and two daughters, and found to be very pleasant. The hotels is actually two buildings and unfortunately our daughters room was not in the same building as ours but they are old enough to be able to left alone, but this may be a problem if your children were... more

We had a very enjoyable stay in Gdansk at the Angela from 20-23 Feb 2008. All the hotel staff we met were exceptional for their helpfulness, efficiency and friendliness. The hotel was very clean and attractive both inside and outside. The room was a reasonable size with two twin beds forming a very comfortable "king size" bed, a desk /... more

Just back from a 4 night stay at the Angela, location is a bit out of the way but public transport is pennies, and taxis are not bad either, (18Zl to town, 31 Zl to the Airport}. Hotel is absolutely spotless, rooms a bit on the small side but OK for a short break, staff VERY friendly & polite and... more

Have just returned from a 2-night stay at Hotel Angela, Gdansk. We found the Hotel modern, clean, staff friendly and fantastic buffet breakfast with every type of food you could want including herring! Great value! The area is just outside the City Centre, 10 mins by bus or for only £3 for a taxi from the Centre. Bus drivers did... more
