We had a lovely time here in Akme Villa, the service was great, sometimes there was people who didn´t speak english (or Finnish, Swedish), but we get along. Breakfast wash´t so big, but it has everything what you need for the good day. On the saturday we fond out that Villa has Sauna, so that was the 10+ for us.... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay and i cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Friendly English speaking staff, spotless rooms, very good breakfast and excellent location.A short taxi or tram ride (nearest stop a 5/6 min walk) into Gdansk centre, also not too far from airport. If you are planning a trip to Gdansk check out this hotel.

In May 2013 we booked two single rooms in Villa Akme for 5 days to explore Gdansk and surroundings. The location is good as described in the other reviews - we usually took the tram into the city centre which is cheap, fast and convenient. The tram experience was good, too - runs on time and trains are reasonably clean.... More

A 10 minute tram ride from the city centre, 5 minute walk to the tram stop. Friendly English speaking staff, excellent hot and cold breakfast buffet, clean warm room, free Gdansk maps and information. Not 5* but excellent value if you are on a budget.

We did not stay here, but wanted to have a meal not far from the guesthouse where we stayed. The male person who served us, was very unfriendly. He explained the menu quickly, and when I had one question more, the answer was: "I've said this three times now!" We ordered beer and wine for the meal. The bottles were... More

We chose Akme Villa drawn by an idea of a family run minihotel. We were however disappointed by poor hygiene (dirty radiators and shower cubicles) and almost non existing housekeeping (our bed linen has not been changed during our 4-night stay at all). We went there as a group of friends and we noticed that some rooms were nice and... More

Stayed here for two nights. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, the room was clean, but still on the basic side. The breakfast was included and pretty typical but it was a good breakfast. Overall we really liked this place. It's in a quiet area so you either need a car, or don't mind... More

Stayed in Villa Akme in June during Euro 2012. The owners describe it as a minihotel. Which is not untrue - it consists of two houses side by side. However, do not be deceived by the description – the Akme Villa is to be recommended. We received a very warm welcome on arrival with very good information on Gdansk. The... More

We arrived after midnight due to a air delay and our host was ready to bed us for the night. The room is pleasant, the service is excellent. They even loaned me 20 PLN for the tram ride downtown as the ATM was not working in the airport last night. An excellent accommodation and a good value.
