booked a superior double through Expedia £50ppn room only, on arrival was told very abruptly, no!, I could not have a double room unless I paid an extra £50, being on a budget I had to settle for what I was given, which I presume was a standard twin, room not serviced first day at all I had to ask... Compared to other hotels of the same chain I experienced in Poland, this one is one of the few up to international standards. Reception staff is friendly and speaks mostly fluent English, breakfast buffet is eatable and has even some day-to-day variety (which was not the case in any other hotels I stayed in while in Poland), close to everything... No real problems, except for one thing - work was taking place and when I returned to my room late afternoon you could hear the drilling reverberating around the room. As I was only dropping stuff off this was not a problem but if you were trying to use your room for some relaxation time, it would have been very... More

The Novotel Gdansk Centrum Hotel is situated on Granary Island pretty much in the centre of Gdansk , there are lots of culture and atractions you must go to. You should really want to know that it is just a short 5 to 10 minute walk to the old town, among monuments such as the Old Crane Gate. The hotel... More

Spent five nights in mid August in the Novotel Gdansk Centrumn Hotel. Arrived late on Sat night ,very friendly and efficient reception staff ....checked in and passports copied and returned all in five minutes. Allocated a ground floor room..not mad on the ground floor but for the price we paid ,no complaints . The room itself was bright and airy... More

Staff are very courteous and helpful. Fantastic location with only a short walk to the Old Town. Breakfast bar selection and food quality very good. I'd recommend the Novotel Centrum to anyone staying in the Gdansk area. More

Went here for two separate 1-night stays either side of a friend's wedding. The location seems out of the way, as there's slightly run-down streets with scaffolding on some buildings nearby, but it's really just a few mins walk from Dluga so very handy. Room was quiet, and fairly large. Very clean too. The only problem I had on both... More

When you first arrive, you may think that you're in the middle of nowhere .. you're not. Location is great, especially if you get the right room. The hotel is located within 2 minutes of the bridge/river and the entrance to the old city. Couldn't be better, very close to the old city but no "old city" street noise. If... More

The hotel was the cheapest by far as Novotel had a summer deal on so we booked here knowing it was close to the Old town. The hotel was & rooms were very clean. Restaurant & bar are over priced but we ate out in the old town every night. Stayed here with our 3 year old & we loved... More
