Hotel was recommend by a former resident of Gdansk. Room was clean and buffet breakfast very good. Would recommend when traveling in any part of Europe to have breakfast included in room price, unless reviews incicate it is not worth while. Hotel was an easy walk to old town. Front desk English skills very good and they were helpful with... more

The hotel was excellently located in relation to the Gdansk Old Town, maximum 5 minutes walk to the Green Gate. Was good value for money, breakfast more than adequate and the hotel staff were helpful and spoke good English. Also we were provided with the 'Gdansk in your Pocket' guidebook for free which is invaluable. No complaints, other than our... more

Just returned from a 2 night midweek break in Gdansk. Stayed at the Novotel Centrum which is everything you'd expect from a Novotel-clean, contemporary (if refurbished), good reception staff, decent breakfast and a little 70's around the edges. Top marks go to reception staff who allowed us to keep on our room for an additional 4 hours following a very... more

Throughly enjoyed my stay here,.. Jan 31st-3rd Feb A good location within 5mins of the town centre, situated on Granary Island, the immediate surroundings are sadly run down some of the buildings are a sad reminder of the Russian onslaught that levelled Gdansk during the later stages of WW2 and now these ruins are left to vandalism and or are... more

Have just returned from weekend in Gdansk, the hotel was conveniently located (once you get your bearings), rooms were clean, tidy, etc. No noise in or outside the hotel. Breakfast was average, although there is plenty choice of cereals, continental meats, and 'hot dog' english breakfast. The staff were very helpful and polite. Did not eat in the hotel restaurant... more

The hotel is situated on Granary Island, a small piece of land between two forks in the river. On the island are a number of derelict grain stores from a previous era but also a number of nicely restored properties. It is a quiet and safe area very close to the town centre, just a few minutes stroll to the... more

We just stayed 3 days in Novotel Gdanks Centrum in April during our holidays in Poland and were quiet satisfied with the hotel. The building itself is a typical 70s building and the location close to a city highway doesn't make it a very attractive hotel on first sight. The lobby and corridors are no better. But once you enter... more

A bargain with clean rooms and a great free buffet in the morning. Super location if your visiting old town. more

The location was very good. The breakfast was great-and the room was okay-although I don't think shower/bathtub had been cleaned between guests. They were also doing construction in the room next door beginning at 9am. I would advise you find a cheaper hotel with more personality-which shouldn't be hard in this city. more

Nothing worse than waking up to the sound of drills on a Saturday morning, especially if you have a night on the tiles. Rooms were large and comfortable, clean and bright. Staff were friendly and helped with good local knowledge. Easy access from hotel to old town. This is a fairly typical of a hotel that was built in the... more
