The reason to book a hostel/hotel/B&B is to have a proper place to sleep. But if I am to sleep I would like to have at least some peace and quiet. Well, Happy Seven Hostel offers no such thing. This hostel was our second hostel in Gdansk, as our previous hostel (which was fine) was already booked full. We selected... More

Cheep place to stay in a great location. Clean, good working WiFi with a spacious kitchen to prepare food. However interior is dark and a little bit creepy with low-budget equipment. Thin walls let you hear everything. No wheelchair access.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hostel while visiting Gdansk and everything went fine. The bedroom was big, nice bed, the bathroom was clean and the shower was good. I'd recommend this hostel for anyone who's going to Gdansk!

I stayed for a couple of nights, reception is in the building opposite so it is bit inconvenient especialy that have to take your shoes off if you want to get there. Room itself was nice but no tv or radio which I thought at this price should be a standard. Only one towel per person and room isnt cleaned... More

We had a great time visiting Gdansk and were happy with our accommodation at the Happy Seven Deluxe. Okay, the workman yelling and thumping about on the roof outside our bedroom window at 7:00 in the morning was not appreciated, but the hostel can't really be blamed for that. The room, bed, bathroom, and breakfast was great - was really... More

I stayed in the de Luxe part of this hostel. They very kindly allowed me to check in early. The room was very clean, no tv but hey that wasn't an issue as I was only going to sleep in it. Bathroom was next door and spotless as was the entire building, especially the kitchen. I liked the fact that... More

We booked in the Happy Seven 'deluxe?' across the street where we had our own bathroom, but no tv or airco. - The location is terrific being very close to all the sights in town is a strong positive. - Breakfast not surprisingly very basic but expected (white bread, cheese, ham, jam, milk, tea, coffee, tomatoes). - WIFI was not... We spent two nights at this hostel. The reception for the “de’luxe” building is actually across the street at the Happy Seven, the more hostel-like of the two locations offering only dorms. The de’luxe building is in fact much more like a hotel, everything is very new, the washrooms very clean. We did not choose an en suite bathroom and... More
