Hotel Artus seemed like an ok hotel on Tripadvisor. Great value for money. We never got to stay there though. The reason is: We were not sure that breakfast was included in the deal offered on the hotels own web page, so we sent the hotel an e-mail asking them to clearify this. The receptionist sent us an offer on... More

The hotel was extremely good value for money. The room was a good size and nicely decorated. We were a bit apprehensive about the noise as several reviews mention the church bells. Yes, they were extremely loud and yes, they were a bit annoying at times. In general they didn't really bother us though, even with our windows open, most... More

We have just got back from our first visit to Gdansk. We had a great time. The hotel is great, very clean, amazing location and very tasteful decorated. We decided not to get the breakfast included in the price but after looking around we did have breakfast in the restaurant. The prices were a little higher than other options but... More

An example of the friendly and service minded hotel in reasonable prices and in the heart of the old town of Gdansk. Also Taxi Baltic recommended by the hotel is worth to mention: really friendly guys. Even a sauna downstairs of the hotel.

Just had a 3 night stay and from the exterior it just looks like the rest of the surrounding buildings but once you get inside your met with a nice quality feel and lovely reception staff. We had a room to the front of the hotel which was very nice with a good sized shower room. There is a mini... More

On arriving in Gdansk we made our way from the train station through the pretty streets to find our hotel - not far about a 10 minute walk. We were extremely impressed with the location it is right opposite St Mary's Church, the main street is mere meters away (which is full of bars, cafes and lovely eateries etc) and... More

We just came back from a long weekend in Gdansk staying at the Hotel Artus in Gdansk Old Town. Had never been to Poland before so not sure what to expect but the Old Town (largely rebuilt after the war) was fabulous. Our stay was made more special by the lovely staff at our hotel. Always helpful and polite they... More

Stayed here for four nights, The rooms we very clean and pleasant, however try to book a room to the rear as after an evening out you will be hearing Bells at 7 am but I suppose its a good wake up call in case the reception staff forget, the bar/restaurant, (not part of hotel), is very friendly place and... Hotel Artus has got just the perfect location for a citybreak in Gdansk. It is close to main square, river front and all the attractions in old town. Only downside with location this good is that it can get a bit noisy at nights, there are quite few pubs and restaurants in the streets near by. Room was very spacious... More

Right in the centre of the "Old Town" the Artus is ideally placed to explore the city.We stayed here for two nights on a room only basis as there are dozens of restaurants in the vicinity and we preferred to eat outside while people watching over a lazy breakfast. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, rooms were spotless and... More
