Stayed here on a three day break, accommodation was what you would expect nothing fancy ,nice and clean, however the Reception staff need to have a look at themselves, if you are not happy in your job move on ,a nice happy face on arrival to welcome you is not too much to ask ??. All the other staff very... More

I was in this hostel with two friends in 2010 - back then tripadvisor didn't have Zappio for evaluation and I couldn't add it. This was one of my first experiencies in hostels and by far the best one! We stayed in one triple room on the top floor - bathroom was shared and just outside of our room but... More

Together with my boyfriend spent there 4 days in july, we booked room with private bathroom and we were very pleased with it! !! About 15 min walk from train station and only about 30 sec from waterfront excellent location! !! Very lovely building lots of character, very helpful staff nice breakfast, the only minus very little storage!! Would definitely... More

The price on the hostel's website was somewhat 30% lower than the one we were charged after coming there. I booked by a phone call and the receptionist felt no necessity to give us this information. Besides that, we wanted a double private room, and what we got was a dark claustrophobic attic room on 6th floor with 5 beds... More

We stayed two nights at Zappio with 18 students and 5 adults. Place was very clean and cozy. Lovely pub in the cellar and a super bartender! Very good service and excellent location. We also had a dinner at the hostels restaurant and that was also very nice. I can warmly recommend this hostel to families and friends if you... More

I visited the pub in the cellar once after some advice from a local, i must say this is one of the best places in Gdansk to have a drink, the range of beers was outstanding, all local beers, especially Amber, the wheat beer and Kozlak being my favourite. Also a wide range of cocktails and spirits, good whisky.. The... More

More like a budget hotel than a hostel this place was just great. Walking distance to the 'Amber Streets' shopping, Old town sights, close to waterfront. Very clean, room was basic but spacious. Shared bathroom, but we seemed to be the only ones on our floor. Breakfast was great. Mix of hot eggs, cold meats, bread, cheese, spreads, coffee and... More

It was the first time, we'd live in hostel (the most often we live in a hotels), but the impression wasn't bad, I really liked this place. Just one minus, because of good location in the old-town, there no special parking, just parking in the street, which cost 20pln per day (24h).

We stayed there in June and had an ensuite double room on the second floor. I recommend this hostel for people who normally don't stay at hostels. Absolutely clean, friendly service, Good breakfast. There was no noise, and the location couldn't be better. It's an old townhouse with no lift, though.
