Note: At the time of this writing, Trip Advisor has the Hotel Veronika listed as a B&B. It's actually a standard hotel. I stayed at the Hotel Veronika for three nights. I took a standard room for 700 Czech crowns per night. My room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom large and the room decor fairly cheery. The hotel itself is a bit nondescript but seems quite well maintained and is certainly pleasant enough. The property lacks a lift which is always a hassle with bags but on the other hand, the building is not a high rise. Getting my bags to/from my room was not any more difficult that the usual maneuvering one needs to do in a train station. The hotel website seemed to indicate that WiFi access would be a chargeable item but it actually turned out to be free-of-charge (bonus!). Not much English spoken by the staff but my stay didn't require much interaction beyond check-in so not a problem for me. I thought the Veronika very good value for the money but the location... more
