Hotel Maria has had a lick of paint.

I booked in at reception for 3 nights after a long journey. I gave my key on the first morning at 11 am, the reception girl, told me that they had only in fact had rooms for one night and that I needed to be out by 12.

Obviously they decided to grab my cash for 1 night and fill the space take my money for that single night and then churn me out.

I would say, bring a tent to Ostrava, or best still don't even bother. Ostrava has a tacky bar street, its not quite got the idea in a big way. more
