We spent two nights at the Gemo in August, and found it to be a throwback to the Communist era, complete with surly staff and spartan accomodation. Hotel Gemo is a completely renovated hotel and the location is very convenient at the border with the old city centre. The entire old city centre is on the corner at walking distance.
