The best place to stay in Olomouc. Central location, private parking (fee). Rooms are very nice and cosy, clean, wi-fi works fine, beds are comfortable. Breakfast is served at the restaurant downstairs - two warm dishes, 2-3 kinds of bread, fruit, joghurts, I think everyone can find something they like. They also offer wonderfull and professional massages - I am... More

Located a short walk from the main squares and sights and the famous Olomouc Beer Festival. We stayed in the 'historic' part with no lift to our rooms, which were compact but nicely furnished with 'antique' style furniture. The shower room/WC/basin were in three compartments, each quite cramped, but the shower was good. Very close to University buildings, free wifi,... More

If you wish to experience a bit of Moravia and have a change from Prague this is an excellent destination. Olomouc is a lovely city, with numerous beautiful baroque churches and fountains everywhere. Eminently walkable with very reasonable local restaurants and accommodations. It can be accomplished as a day trip in two and a half hours each way but much... More

Colleagues at the university booked me in here for a visit to Olomouc and it was a very enjoyable stay. Rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff could not be more helpful, and the walk to Olomouc's central sights is no more than five minutes. Some reviewers criticise the breakfast, but as continental breakfasts go it is perfectly acceptable. Two things... More

Put up here by our hosts we had a fabulous junior suite with roof terrace and amazing views. Incredibly clean, great bathroom, tea and coffee facilities in room, very light and airy but with good blinds. In comparison the free breakfast was very disappointing

The location can't be beat if you're looking for a center of the historic town hotel. The breakfast is very solid. The single room I had was a bit small, but the location cannot be beat Very good breakfast in the glass-overed courtyard.

Great hotel! Nice and clean rooms. Sympathetic crew. Very fast internet connection. The only critic would be that the breakfast room can be a little noisy for those enjoying a quite morning with birds in cage chirping and loud euro-dance music in the speakers.

Hotel Arigone is a lovely hotel which has slowly and thoughtfully expanded over the last few years. The rooms are varied, clean and modern but at the same time retain an historical charm. The reception staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a little basic and samey but totally adequate. The restaurant supplies very good food and the service... More

I stayed here for 2 lovely nights. The room was great, really clean and very comfortable. It's a 4 star hotel, but I wouldn't compare it to 4 stars in other parts of Europe. The staff spoke English, and were very helpful. I had a massage in the Pension, which was great and an absolute bargain. Great location, with ease... More

We asked for a History room--as it promised antique furniture and preserved structural 18th century elements. But our room was a far cry from that pictured on the website--just tired late 20th century furniture. There is no elevator access to the History rooms. They have a secure parking garage, but oddly, they do not allow you to make reservations for... More
