Stuck here for a week on business. Someone said this rated 3 star: well it's obviously a different exchange rate in Brno! It's closer to a high rise Travelodge. Standard rooms are 'austere'. My husband my teaching in Brno and the university had booked this hotel for us and our daughter to stay in. We waited patiently to check in as there were a couple of people in the hotel. I stay at the Continental every March while in Brno on business (education), and I wouldn't stay anywhere else now. As the others have said - very good value for money. nothing really to complain about. Walk to town centre (5 mins), bar nice good beer (plenty of ladies of the night around too) if your single inot that sort of thing! more

The Hotel Continental appears a little austere as you approach. It's basically a multi-story block built in the 60's, with decor to match! However, the prices are reasonable, there is ample car parking (including secured, underground), it's very clean and comfortable and the staff are multi-lingual. It's just a short walk to the city, with restaurants within easy walking distance.... more

The hotel is a bit far away from the train station (20mins walk). But it's not a problem to find it on the map. And easy to explore the city from the hotel once you know the direction. Acceptable price, nice room, good facility, helpful staff, good breakfast and free internet to use. more
