I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is hidden away in the old town of Prague and within easy walking distance of everywhere within the city itself. The members of staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. They all go out of their way to make your stay happy and to see that you have... More

We have just returned from a magical 4 days in Prague visiting the Christmas market etc. We have never had the pleasure of staying in such an attentive and hospitable hotel as The Agnes. It is tucked away off the main streets but still central in the old town. Breakfast is fantastic, catering for all needs. There is always a... More

Having booked for three nights, we took advantage of the offer of a car from the airport to the hotel. Our transfer was on time and very professional. Very much appreciated. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted, offered drinks and given information about the hotel and Prague itself, so we could make the most of our trip. Our bags... More

Let me preface this review with the fact that I had just spent 7 days on a river cruise of the Danube; 7 days of steely tight structure, mediocre "tours" and general claustrophobia. I felt as if I had been holding my breath the entire river experience. Then, we arrived at Hotel Residence Agnes in Prague. All the other reviews... More

Frank and his team are phenomenal. On our honeymoon and they added a romantic touch for us, wine and roses in our room. They couldn't have treated us any better. I wish we could've stayed longer. Great service from airport pickup, to the best breakfast of any hotel ever (Frank even invited our parents for breakfast and drinks who were... More

All of the great reviews we read are true! This hotel is fantastic and the service is without a doubt the best we've experienced. Frank and his team are very helpful, friendly, knowledgable and professional. Frank - please open hotels in other European cities!! We will stay at them all!

Prior to our visit we read the reviews on Tripadvisor - they were so good we could not believe the hotel could live up to them - it did and more!! From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. They booked restaurants for us, indeed on our arrival as it was getting late... More

Best hotel with great service, have stayed at other hotels in Prague in the past, but Frank and his staff were very friendly and accommodating, too bad I didn't know about this hotel in the past. Drove us to our destinations, made sure we had everything we needed. Introduced staff, everyone was on a first name basis. Clearly wants his... More

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights in September and we were so pleased we had chosen this hotel from the many options available in Prague. It absolutely lived up to the reviews on TA and we would stay here again if ever we are lucky enough to go back to Prague. It is the customer service that... More

Read all the reviews, everyone agrees this is the place to stay in Prague. It really is the most friendly, warm and welcoming hotel. The mulled wine is perfect to warm you after a cold day exploring, the rooms are fresh and clean with comfy beds. The breakfast is everything you need before a busy day and the never ending... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
