Every glowing review is well deserved. This hotel can't be faulted in any way. Stay here and know you are in the best hands. A truly friendly, helpful staff who provide excellent customer service. There is an extensive breakfast and it's in a great location.

We found this spot through TripAdvisor, as did virtually all the other guests. It is a small 22 room boutique hotel on a narrow street. The staff were wonderful, as the other reviews note, and the location terrific for walking to all the sights. There's beer or soda and snacks at all times in the common room; the staff drive... We booked this hotel based on previous reviews and this hotel really does meet up to all of the excellent reviews. Frank and his staff were all excellent - they really ensured that our stay in Prague was a good experience. Their daily recommendations and bookings made such a difference to our visit. The location of the hotel was perfect... More

From help and advice on what to see and how to get there, to the warm welcome with a cold beer or glass of wine or soft drink on each return, every effort was made to make us feel like honoured guests. Perfect location for a weekend break.

We were overwhelmed with the level of service in this hotel. All the reviews are true! When you arrive one of the staff sits down with you over a drink and goes through your stay. They are happy to suggest and book tours, restaurants and give suggestions for what you can do each day. Free drinks including beer and wine... More

What is extraordinary about the hotel is the customer service. I've never been to a hotel like it. They took a genuine interest in helping my wife and me get the most of our time in Prague, advising on tours, restaurants and sites to visit, booking tickets for concerts for us, making restaurant reservations and tour bookings, and then driving... I have never stayed at any hotel in my life with better service. Everyone on staff tirelessly attended to our needs throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The location is unbeatable for walking around Prague. True, by Prague standards it is on the high end cost-wise, but you undoubtedly get what you pay for!!

One of my best European hotel experiences. A little on the pricey side for Prague but worth every penny. Fantastic breakfast, lots of freebie drinks, very clean, and free pick up from the train station. Plus, it's in a safe and quiet location. But, the charm of the hotel comes from the owner and the staff who bend over backwards... More

There is a compelling reason why Agnes is rated number one...every one of the management and staff involved understands and delivers great service. From pickup at the train station, introduction at checkin, morning breakfasts, daily tour departures, evening drinks, and drop off for our return journey my girlfriend and I were cared for like loved family members...the best 3 nights... To be honest, It's a toss up which was more special, my trip to Prague or my stay at the Agnes. I've traveled all over the world and stayed at some of the nicest 5 star hotels, and nothing has compared to my experience at this boutique hotel. Centrally located, the hotel is charming (a cobble stone floor in the... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
