My girlfriend and I stayed at Residence Agnes in August for 5 non consecutive nights. Everything starting from the online reservation and ending with our complimentary taxi to the airport was handled with such a passion and perfection that it was second to none. Speaking of "complimentary", literally everything was included in the price of the room. Free transportation, wine,... More

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Prague. This is a centrally located family run hotel. Prior to your arrival they offer transfer assistance, restaurant reservations, tour advice etc. Upon arrival they greet you with a drink of your choosing (wine, beer, coffee, soda, water) and provide a good overview of the city. Courtesy transfers are offered... More

My wife and our two sons (18 and 22) stayed with Frank last week for two nights. I have stayed in hotels and resorts all over the world and have had the pleasure of visiting many of the top hotels in the world. Frank has set the bar at a new level for me. If you go to Prague and... More

From the person at the front desk to the driver that dropped us off at the train station, everything was wonderful! Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and informative. Nice breakfast each morning and beverages (wine, champagne, beer, coffee, etc) throughout the day (all included in room rate). Most everything around The Old Town is 5-10 walk and free hotel car/driver... More

As soon you arrive, everyone at Res Agnes is meeting you with open arms. The staff is extremely friendly, kind and always asking if you need anything! The location is perfect for walking to all the sights and if not in the mood to walk, either Frank or Becherovka are ready to drive you. In the morning, that staff prepares... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in August, 2014. I have never been treated any better anywhere and I have travelled the world for both business and pleasure. Frank and his staff are very helpful and efficient. I walked in the door to check-in and they immediately handed us a glass of wine (much appreciated after our... More

This is a must stay if visiting Prague. From the time we walked in the door of this boutique-type hotel, we were met with the friendly, helpful, & very accommodating team of the Res Agnes. During our stay, Frank could not do enough for us; offering adult refreshments each time we went out & returned, courtesy transport, making dinner reservations,... More

My wife and I stayed here in early August after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor - the praise from past guests was spot on. I have never experienced so much gracious hospitality in any other hotel. I kid my friends that Frank and his staff treated me better than my own mother (but it might actually be true!) For... More

Residence Agnes is such a delightful boutique hotel with unbelievable service. They made us feel like special friends, couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was outstanding. We were so disappointed we couldn't extend our stay as they were fully booked, but again the amazing service continued and they found us a nice room nearby at a good rate.... More

I stayed here for 5 days as a solo traveler. This beautiful 22 room boutique hotel was charming, very clean (if that matters, as it does to me) with modern amenities. The staff was extremely well trained, and was helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The owner, Frank, was on site every day and seemed to work as hard as... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Residence Agnes**** is located in the heart of charming Old Town, just a few steps from Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and the Jewish Quarter of Josefov containing preserved synagogues that attract tourists from around the world; it is also close to the attractive Palladium shopping centre. Due to its location, the residence is the ideal base for your visit to Prague – whether for a shopping spree, or to visit cultural and historical sites. The historical Residence Agnes building is located in one of the oldest parts of Old Prague which is listed by UNESCO. The first mention of the building dates back to 1369, when it was bought by Matyas for “two three-scores of groschens”. Residence Agnes underwent extensive reconstruction in January and February 2012, when the building was transformed into a four-star air-conditioned hotel offering an excellent service and pleasant atmosphere. ... more   less
