Lovely boutique hotel in great location. The best aspect of this hotel is its friendly, attentive staff. When we arrived, Linda offered us a drink and sat down with us with a map to describe the sites in Prague. She had great recommendations for restaurants and made reservations for us. The hotel provided a driver to drop us at locations... More

This was the first stop on our European adventure and Hotel Residence Agnes was wonderful. Everyone who worked there was tremendously helpful–from how to get around the city, recommended tours, restaurants, plus they offered unlimited drinks, water, and soft drinks. This place is in an incredibly location where you can walk around the old city and get to all the... More

First let me begin by saying we drove into Prague from Berchtesgaden with my sister following close behind and in a few minutes we were "Lost in Prague" LOL. I pulled over somewhere in the Downtown area and called the Hotel as the street they were on was not showing up in either of our two cars GPS. Lukas suggested... More

We selected this hotel based on reviews we had seen from other travelers and they were very spot on for this being a great hotel. The customer service for their staff went above and beyond in all aspects. We were picked up (free) by the hotel driver from our flight, arriving late in the evening and he gave us a... More

We have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels in many different cities and Residence Agnes was the best ever in terms of the enthusiastic helpfulness of the staff and owner. Complementary pick up at train station, drop off to meet tour to Terizen (a must see), drop off and guided to a difficult to find restaurant and drop off... More

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and out of the 5 countries we visited, it was most definitely the highlight of our trip. The hotel and its staff went above and beyond from dinner recommendations to what were the must see's to really ANYTHING we needed. We met the owner several times during our stay and he... More

We just left after three nights staying in this magnificent hotel. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed the stay very much. Excellent service, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The room was beautiful, clean and tidy. The location was perfect, 10 minutes walk to Old Town Square. Our stay in Agnes was the best... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in May 2015 during a three week trip to Europe. We selected this hotel based on the uniformly excellent reviews. As hard as it may be to believe, the experience here far exceeds one's expectations. The positives begin with the staff, all of whom are friendly, helpful, attentive and most importantly,... More

We spent 4 most enjoyable days/nights in the most completely customer-centric establishment we've ever encountered - and our total stands at 39 countries & c90 hotels! From arranging a concert trip to booking restaurant tables and providing the perfect breakfast, the staff never missed a trick. burtonna's greatest achievement - getting our own coffee while the helper was briefly in... Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
