Residence Agnes is such a delightful boutique hotel with unbelievable service. They made us feel like special friends, couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was outstanding. We were so disappointed we couldn't extend our stay as they were fully booked, but again the amazing service continued and they found us a nice room nearby at a good rate.... More

I stayed here for 5 days as a solo traveler. This beautiful 22 room boutique hotel was charming, very clean (if that matters, as it does to me) with modern amenities. The staff was extremely well trained, and was helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The owner, Frank, was on site every day and seemed to work as hard as... More

Not a lot really. I was concerned that the reviews were too good and that we would be disappointed – this was not the case at all. We arrived on the day of my birthday and as we checked in we were brought a bottle of fizz to help with the celebrations!!! (We had already been given a complimentary glass... More

Gimmie a break! How can all these glowing reviews possibly be real? "Best Hotel Ever" "Above and Beyond". Well you can believe it because it is all true. Being this nice 24x7 would drive me crazy, but they manage to do it all with a smile. Go there! You will love it.

We chose this hotel because it was rated #1 and it did not disappoint. The reviews are true!! Frank and his staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and the couldn't do enough for us. The lobby area was a gathering place at breakfast and early evening where we enjoyed completmentary beer, wine, espresso and chatted with... More

I stayed here for a week in early August. From the moment that I was picked up from the airport, to the moment that I was dropped off at the airport everything at this hotel was the best. I appreciated the welcoming talk with Magdalena about the places in town and ideas of what I could do. I had lots... More

When thinking of the Hotel Residence Agnes, the word Hotel disappears from your mind and the word Residence moves to the forefront. I was traveling with my wife and my 81 year old parents (who had never been to Europe before), and we were all struck by how hard Frank (owner) and his staff would do everything in their power... Well, everything they say on Facebook is true. This hotel fully deserves its super high rating. It is well situated, the rooms are so very comfortable, the breakfast is great, and there is nothing the owners wouldn't do for you. Because i came from so far away, they gave us a complimentary taxi ride to the airport at the end of... More

Cant really fault this hotel. It had everything we wanted and needed. Room was great (on the top floor) Breakfast plentiful, location was close enough to tourist area but far enough away to be quiet. Staff were friendly and full of recommendations. Plus the one of the best pubs i have been in is just on the corner (Lokal).

This is not like staying at a "hotel", from the second you enter...they treat you like family; but no one ever crosses a line that decreases the professionalism. Prague is a beautiful and fabulous city, and every employee at the Agnes, make it even more special. I put off seeing Prague because of so many comments (about the city), none... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Residence Agnes**** is located in the heart of charming Old Town, just a few steps from Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and the Jewish Quarter of Josefov containing preserved synagogues that attract tourists from around the world; it is also close to the attractive Palladium shopping centre. Due to its location, the residence is the ideal base for your visit to Prague – whether for a shopping spree, or to visit cultural and historical sites. The historical Residence Agnes building is located in one of the oldest parts of Old Prague which is listed by UNESCO. The first mention of the building dates back to 1369, when it was bought by Matyas for “two three-scores of groschens”. Residence Agnes underwent extensive reconstruction in January and February 2012, when the building was transformed into a four-star air-conditioned hotel offering an excellent service and pleasant atmosphere. ... more   less
