The hotel Ibis brand is part of the Accor group and caters to the younger hip millennial market which is into more basic accommodations with funky decor and unique fun marketing collateral used in general. I know this and for this particular trip it was ok. The only Thing I have a mAjor issue with is the attaching Wenceslas Square... More

This hotel is close to major tourist attractions. Also adjacent to Novotel which has a nice restaurant and good breakfast. you will also get a discount there if you are an ibis customer. rooms were clean and very helpful staff. They also have a new bed which is much better than previous bedding.

We chose it because it was well located not too far from the downtown area and it had parking on site for our car. The hotel is IBIS: New, neat, clean, smallish rooms but comfortable, standard room and you know what you will get at an IBIS. TV was fine so was the paid wifi. Breakfast was good, abundant and... Lovely hotel ideally placed for central Prague (though a 10 min walk from Wenceslas Square !!). Rooms were very clean and well maintained and staff very helpful and friendly. No bar but we were able to use the bar in the Novotel next door. Rooms very reasonably priced and very good value for money.

Stayed for 3 nights with a group of friends. Rooms were close to each other but unfortunately I had to move due to the over powering smell of cigarettes in 306. If you're a non smoker suggest you request non smoking when you book or check in. Lovely lady on reception moved me immediately to a fresh room. Make sure... More

First of all, I'd like to say that the location is really good. It may not be on the Wenceslas Square itself (more like 15min walk away), though it's near I.P. Pavlova which has great metro and tram connections. So still great location (maybe even better than at the square itself). Also, I really liked the staff who were really... More

I am writing this review about the exceptional customer service I received from this hotel without even staying here.. I contacted them to see if they could do something about it without expecting anything as it was nonrefundable,... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
