First of all, I'd like to say that the location is really good. It may not be on the Wenceslas Square itself (more like 15min walk away), though it's near I.P. Pavlova which has great metro and tram connections. So still great location (maybe even better than at the square itself). Also, I really liked the staff who were really... More

I am writing this review about the exceptional customer service I received from this hotel without even staying here.. I had booked the hotel for one night nonrefundable rate and wasn't able to make it to Prague due to flight cancellation.. I contacted them to see if they could do something about it without expecting anything as it was nonrefundable,... More

Couldn't ask for a better location at a reasonable rate. Five minute walk to Wenceslas Square. Ten minutes to train station. Front desk associate made me feel like I had committed a crime by inadvertantly stepping behind a counter to check coffee options in the lobby. It was not very clearly marked for someone who had not been there before... More

Clean rooms and very close to the metro. It wasn't too far from the action but it wasn't spot in the middle. Perfect to get away from the crowds after a long day but remain close to them. I can't comment on the breakfast as it wasn't included in my rate.

The hotel is close to a subway station and it is not far from some of the main attractions. However, I think they should improve cleanliness especially at breakfast, it was difficult to find a clean spoon. Housekeeping should get better training or coordination because they just enter the room when you are there. In the morning I was getting... More

This is typical of the group if not a bit better. The rates you can get are excellent - mine usually includes the brekfast which is super - a huge range of buffet things and endless quite drinkable coffee. All rooms have fast wifi. The beds (they are new) are especially comfortable. It is so well located, just 5-10 mins... More

Rooms ok. Only one towel per person. In our last day housekeeping entered our room without knocking and apology. they tried another time but I have closed out room door from inside. Excellent breakfast, good location. Quite far from wenceslas square. We won't be back.

A very standard hotel - nice, comfortable rooms with reasonable amounts of space and a smaller but clean bathroom. It was relatively modern and the service was great. The hotel is well-located, close to Wenceslas Square as well as the metro and tram lines. It was within walking distance of a few good pubs and restaurants too. It was also... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
