An amazing place to stay and the location is perfect. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend. I can't wait to go Prague and stay back at The Nicholas Hotel Residence. My new home away from home.

From the mulled wine in the lobby to the cheerful recommendations, this hotel was perfect. A great location and fun yet functional loft in a historic building made it unforgettable. An outstanding value.

We came from England, Switzerland, Netherlands, New Zealand and USA. We found this property ideal to conduct our discussions and strategic planning, however the number of participants should to be limited to 6-7 tops. While we met there was absolute quietness and tranquility. We could accomplish a lot. Once we finished every day, we had the magic of Prague within... More

The 3 bedroom apartment offered at the hotel was perfect for a group of friends or a family! Rooms were large and beds very comfortable, and what's important shared living / kitchen area was spacious and well equiped!! we only stayed for 1 night but it would have been a great place for a week or even longer. Staff was... More

We had a really lovely time at the hotel. The customer service was really excellent; the staff were very helpful, easy going and friendly. It's in a great location right underneath Prague Castle so everything is within walking distance. The room was beautiful, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Although the breakfast offered in the cafe next door was only Continental,... More

The apartment was lovely, the staff was warm and friendly. It was in the perfect location below the castle and yet an easy walk across the beautiful Charles Bridge to enjoy the holiday markets in the center. Staying at the Amour Residence helped make our holiday magical!

I like Mala Strana - the nice part of historical city. Very closer to Charles bridge and main square, small streets, best view points, small lovely cafe bad restaurants... Amour residence is the best place to be there.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
