The apartment was lovely, the staff was warm and friendly. It was in the perfect location below the castle and yet an easy walk across the beautiful Charles Bridge to enjoy the holiday markets in the center. Staying at the Amour Residence helped make our holiday magical!

Lovely hotel, very conveniently located, easy access to all the most interesting places in Prague. The atmosphere in the room is very consistent with the spirit of the city itself. The friendly staff. Delicious pastries for breakfast (café on the ground floor of the same building)

I like Mala Strana - the nice part of historical city. Very closer to Charles bridge and main square, small streets, best view points, small lovely cafe bad restaurants... Amour residence is the best place to be there.

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions and numerous restaurants and pubs. The room was more of a small apartment than a hotel room, and was uniquely charming, spacious, clean, comfortable, and had excellent internet service. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The free continental breakfast at an adjacent restaurant was very good.... More

The hotel probably has the best location to see old town Prague. It is by the main street about 100 meters away from Charles Bridge, but yet pretty quiet. Don't have to take bus, tram, subway or train to see the old town. A lot of excellent restaurants around here. A very relaxing stay.

This appartment has a lot which makes it excellent: spacy room suite(we stayed at the top with 2 'floors), charmy atmosphere, large fridge & freezer, good breakfast table and sofa/ chairs, and foremost a perfect location in close proximity to castle, old town and all other sightseing spots without being too crowdy outside. The only small things we could whish... More

Dear Per Kristian, thank you for the feedback. It is nice to read these nice words about the room and equipment inside. Unfortunately during your stay we had an accident with the elevator and it was not working. Finally we have fixed the problem and the elevator is function. We apologize once again for this problem. We are especially happy... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
