This is a great choice if you are looking for a hotel in the city centre of Prague. Relaxed atmosphere, very clean (rooms & public areas). You HAVE TO try the beds. Very friendly staff. No unnecessary frills that serve only as excuses to drive prices higher. Food is great in the lounge.

We all enjoyed our stay this week at Icon Hotel. Good breakfast open all day. Free Wifi with good speed, always online. The rooms had a good standard, and they were big! Everything is just a 10min walk from the hotel.. I suggest that you drop the taxi, its easier to just walk.. Good pizza restaurant next to the hotel!

A Diamond In The Rough! I am so happy that my girlfriend and I had found this little treasure cove on our stay in Prague. It isn't overly luxurious, but they do offer little luxuries like a full dvd list of well picked movies and a DVD player in the room. Room Service was also pretty good! The room was... More

First of all I have to say, we loved Praga and it has been a really great trip. When we searched for a hotel, we looked for a place, not to expensive (but not a hostel), 2 rooms (because we have 2 children) in the centre, so we wouldn't be dependant on the public transportation. We founf the Icon hotel... More

Dear VanckaPomarancka, Thank you very much for taking the time to review our property. I am really happy that overall you have enjoyed your stay and that you liked our handmade Hästens beds. I would like to address the issue with the parking you have mentioned. It is true that there is no parking at our hotel - the reason... More

We didn't hate this place, but we didn't love it either. I think it's just not our type of hotel - very casual and no-frills. Pros: large room, comfortable bed, nice staff. Cons: anemic air-conditioning system, very dark bathroom (black surfaces), food was just fine, easy to hear noise from other floors/rooms. We stayed at the Aria at the beginning... More

The best hotel experience I have ever had. The staff was amazing and so helpfull, the rooms were very nice and big (altho one con was the soft pillows and that you couldn't tuck your blanket under your matress) and don't get me started on the breakfast buffet.. I wish I had such a luxury breakfast every day! The hotel... More

Nice hotel on walking distance of city center and quietly located. Very good Hasting beds, although only 2 meter long. The hotel is new, staff is excellent and knows what hospitality is. The rooms themselves are good, well equipped but noise from the hallway is entering the room. For a 4* hotel that should not be the case.

Nice, clean and pleasant hotel, very centrally located, comfyroom. Breakfast very good, especially the pancakes.bed was huge and we slept well, helped by the fact we were walking miles each day! We had the delux room, a bargain at around £60 per night.

We stayed in a Junior Suite which had a lounge area separate to the bedroom. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. There was a little bit of air conditioning noise from outside but generally it was quiet inside. The location was superb and was a quick walk to Wencelles Square, a metro line, tram lines... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
