Very Nice modern hotel located 200 metres from Wenceslas Square, handy for the tourist areas in a quiet side street. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful, the hotel is spotlessly clean, modern rooms and bathrooms, and you can get breakfast as late as you like. For the English there is Rocky O'Reillys Irish bar just 50 meters away,... More

Visited Prague for a few days. Hotel was clean, the bed was very comfortable, bath large. Location was perfect for public transportation. Staff were very friendly and seemed to enjoy giving us a full explanation of attractions and directions. We loved the complimentary breakfast with fresh fruit, omelets, and assorted meats and pastries which is always a plus when staying... More

The hotel has a great location (few minutes walking away from the Old Town)! Also is a safe area. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. However, concerning breakfast wasn't satisfactory at all. Although continental had very few choices and even the ones provided were nothing special.

really nothing wrong with this place. very nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and good location. the all-day breakfast concept is cool, and if that's not good there are options to eat all around.

Got a deal from Living Social to stay here with friends for three days, and it was an absolute bargain. Hotel is close to Wenceslas Square and connections to Prague's wonderful tram system - although in a quiet back street. 10 minutes' walk from Prague main station and can be accessed from the Square via an interesting traditional indoor shopping... Gorgeous hotel in nice location close to everything. Rooms were very modern and clean. All day breakfast was great idea no rush in the mornings to get breakfast selection was also good.. Tapas bar at night was very lively and good atmosphere. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Will come again and will be recommending to friends and family.

The hotel is located, down a quiet side street, about a minute's walk from the centre of Wenceslas Square and approximately 5 minutes walk away from Old Town Square. The location was perfect if you are looking to go shopping in high street stores. The entrance to the hotel is low-key, as there is a single door with an LED... More

We were a bit surprised when the taxi dropped us off outside the hotel entrance, it seemed very much like an entrance to an appartment building which was not what we were looking for. Once we got inside, though, the impression quickly improved. The staff working there was very helpful and the rooms were spacious, trendy and clean. The rooms... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a business trip last month. It's location is very central and very close to Wenceslas square. The rooms are very modern, with all the amenities you could ask for. Overall the size of the room and the bathroom is big. The service was impeccable. Also their all day a la carte... More

I stayed for a week at the Icon Hotel & Lounge in Prague. The location of the hotel was excellent. It was a five minute walk to the heart of Wenceslas Square and about a 15 minute walk to the Old Town Square. There is an endless supply of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and shopping in short proximity to the... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
