Nice, clean and pleasant hotel, very centrally located, comfyroom. Breakfast very good, especially the pancakes.bed was huge and we slept well, helped by the fact we were walking miles each day! We had the delux room, a bargain at around £60 per night.

We stayed in a Junior Suite which had a lounge area separate to the bedroom. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. There was a little bit of air conditioning noise from outside but generally it was quiet inside. The location was superb and was a quick walk to Wencelles Square, a metro line, tram lines... More

Good location, all within walking distance. Hotel staff extremely helpful and accommodation was spacious and well designed. Breakfast was excellent with a fair choice of cold or cooked. Reception was always willing to suggest things to do plus help with out of town excursion bookings.

Location is great and the staff were very good. Very helpful concierge, excellent breakfasts and lovely bed. The aircon worked effectively (it was 90+ outside most of the time we were there) and the room was quiet and comfortable. We will stay there again. The only, really nit picking, thing that could have been better was that the maid didn't... More

Rooms were horrible! You can hear every sound from the corridors and I was afraid someone will come in. They left a brochure about the beds and maybe if you buy the nice quality once but not the once we had in the hotel. The bed sheets did not cover the bed, and both my husband and I were sore... Dear MilakdM, I am really sad reading your review of our property. It seems to me unjust and full of hatred. First of all I would like to point out that all our rooms are equipped with handmade beds from Hästens (swedish company making beds since 1852) These are considered one of the best beds in the world by most... I've stayed in a lot of hotels that look fancy online but once you get there, you get disappointed. The Icon in Prague beats your expectations. It looks good online, but it's even better in real life. The rooms are big and airy, and if you have special needs like allergies, they make sure you get pillows and covers without... More

This hotel was utterly amazing. It was only a 5 min walk to the main street and another 15 to old town. This hotel has a restaurant and bar down stairs too. The rooms are so cute and very large. The shower had a bath combo which was great. The pressure and temp was perfect. The bed was super comfortable... More

The ICON Hotel & Lounge exceeded expectations! The hotel is located away from the crowded tourist zones yet in walking distance to all the major attractions in Old Town Prague. Upon arrival to the hotel we were greeted warmly by the Front Desk Staff and provided with an ample amount of information to comfortably explore Prague. While all the hotel... More

This is a good choice if you prefer a modern, stylish hotel, although I would not class it as luxurious. It is in a convenient position just outside the old town which was a 10 minute walk away and close to the shops of Wenceslas Square. It is also near to the Metro and a major bus stop. The room... Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
