My husband and I have just returned from 3 days and 2 nights in Prague. We found the hotel on Travel Zoo and had the most marvellous time. The Icon is an absolutely delightful bijoux hotel. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. The reception staff were the most helpful I have experienced. Nothing was a problem and... More

What a wonderful find- a modern hotel in Prague that isn't wildly priced! Stylish, trendy, comfortable and clean. Stayed for almost 2 weeks and was able to enjoy all prague had to offer without overspending. Staff is friendly and gracious and speaks english well.

If looking for a centrally located yet quiet spot near tram and metro, this is your pick. Clean, modern basic rooms with plenty of storage space (and nice bath products, too). Helpful and laidback service and good all day (!) served breakfast completes the cozy stay. There's also a tiny but excellent spa for relaxing. The only downside was the... More

We stayed here and loved it. The breakfast was the best we had in Europe with the made to order omelette and pancakes. The staff bend over backwards to help book tours and other special requests. The location is great close to everything you need. We loved the fact it has a large bed option and a tub to soak... More

Just superb in every respect - stylish, comfortable, a little luxurious, friendly and customer-focused staff. For business travel, this hotel is somewhere peaceful and comfortable to get on with your work, have a beautiful night's sleep and have a great breakfast the next morning. I've stayed in many wonderful hotels that charge an awful lot more than the Icon does... More

Great combination. Their service is great! In addition, the all day complimentary breakfast menu and location puts the Icon over the top!!! Highly recommend! Only complaint . . . Weather in November is dark and dreary and says are short!

Very Nice modern hotel located 200 metres from Wenceslas Square, handy for the tourist areas in a quiet side street. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful, the hotel is spotlessly clean, modern rooms and bathrooms, and you can get breakfast as late as you like. For the English there is Rocky O'Reillys Irish bar just 50 meters away,... More

Visited Prague for a few days. Hotel was clean, the bed was very comfortable, bath large. Location was perfect for public transportation. Staff were very friendly and seemed to enjoy giving us a full explanation of attractions and directions. We loved the complimentary breakfast with fresh fruit, omelets, and assorted meats and pastries which is always a plus when staying... More

The hotel has a great location (few minutes walking away from the Old Town)! Also is a safe area. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. However, concerning breakfast wasn't satisfactory at all. Although continental had very few choices and even the ones provided were nothing special.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
