I loved Prague. Who wouldn't? But the icing on the Czech cake was Botel Matylda. Charming, clean, adorable. I could go on! There are so many places on my Europe list to explore, but staying here would be worth the stop again! The Italian restaurant on the boat attached was delicious for dinner and breakfast. Swans swarm you. So peaceful

I found Matylda quite by accident while looking for somewhere to stay in Prague. What a find. It is out of the way, but only a short walk to the centre. The boat is fitted out beautifully. The cabins are cosy and well equipped. We had a view out over the river which was amazing. It was so peaceful at... More

For some reason I booked Matylda thinking it was a regular hotel centrally located in Prague and I completely missed that it was a boat. (small ship really) What a fantastic surprise when we arrived, beautifully done out and we had an executive suite which was plenty big enough and a very good breakfast. David and Samar could not have... More

The Botel Matylada is a fantastic budget hotel and restaurant in Prague. Centrally located but nicely tucked away, this affordable and stylish hotel really made our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. The adjoining restaurant is also very good. My only negative was the thin walls, but it's to be expected on a boat!

We came with friends for a long weekend in Prague and got a bargain for our stay. Not too sure what we were expecting but it outdid any expectations! Rooms very clean with everything you need. They were warm and comfortable and the staff were outstanding. We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was top notch!... More

We stayed for four nights last January for my partners birthday treat. We loved it here, we chose Botel Matylda as it was different from the run of the mill hotels and glad we did. We had a lovely peaceful stay here, just outside the main attractions but well within walking distance. If you want to travel further afield the... More

We stayed 7 nights and were nervous about this stay however, it certainly was the most beautiful, comfortable and pleasant stay. We loved everything about this hotel particularly its location and staff. In term of location, it cannot be beaten by any other budget or luxury hotel in Prague. You are close to everything that you can walk but far... More

What a great idea! A very unique hotel for us. The location of the Botel is in a great place, very close to the Old Town. We had a great view out side our room, even two swans swum close to our window one morning. The decor of the room really well done. The breakfast was included in our room... More

If ever in Prague, look no further for one of the most unique places to stay! The rooms are cozy with the ultimate waterfront view. The swans will come up right to your windows! The Botel is right in the middle of everywhere you want to see in Prague and walkable to almost everything. We had planned to go somewhere... More

Absolutely loved this hotel. It was cosy and well equipped. There was a mini bar in the room which had everything you could want in it. The room was quite small but adequate. The shower room had a port hole window. Very clean and new towels every day. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Couldn't fault them at all.... More
