The buildings themselves have some old charm, being large buildings with old fashioned wide halls, large staircases and high ceilings with a central courtyard looking own onto the Marks and Spencer's top floor cafe. During our stay we were moved from one higher floor room (very spacious with several bathrooms and two bedrooms to share, plus one which was 'taped'... More

Great location and friendly service. Email is the only way to get information and changes but it works fast and smooth. We were family of 5 and our apartment was in main location at Václavské náměstí 36. We decided to add rental car during our stay and got it parked overnight to the hotel own underground parking with short notice.... More

Completely dissatisfied with this hotel. First off, we are not here very long...we arrived shortly after 7:30 pm. The reception office was 40 meters away from the hotel which required us to walk our luggage down a busy street after traveling all day. No assistance with our luggage was offered by the receptionist. She also failed to tell me what... More

The apartment was great. Within walking distance of everything. We had a washer, but no dryer which is typical in Europe. There was a coffee maker, but no filters and the supermarket nearby didn't have any either. The bathtub drain was very slow and when I told the front desk they said "We know." :) There was parking available at... More

Nice location overlooking the square. Our apartment had great windows. The apartment was large but hot water was out for last two days. Told desk and sent e-mail but no response from management. Also not clean. Trash in the hallways and elevator. Single beds were fine for small children but not for adults. Prague is a great city but I... More

This was our first time booking an apartment for a long weekend, and we are very happy we chose this place. The web site (http://www.pragueapartment.cz/home-page/) provided all the information we needed and we were able to book the exact apartment we wanted. They are very pet friendly as we brought our 3, not so small dogs. The apartment (Studio Apartment... More

I thought our apartment was going to be on the square. It was 800 meters away. The apartment was lovely. Plenty of space and everything we needed was there. They even had a welcome bottle of wine for us! We only wish we had known beforehand the actual location of the apartment

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
