I stayed in the Hotel Sovereign for 6 nights during a conference. It is in close vicinity of the train station and to the metro Muzeum. The room was loveley with a nice big bathroom and high quality shampoo, handwash and lotion. The make-up mirror and professional hair dryer is a great addition to the bathroom. The entry area had... Great Hotel in city centre. Short walk from wherever you need to be and just off the main drag. Quiet back road so no noise. Breakfast plentiful and good choice. Loved relaxing in the sauna at the end of the day.

The hotel is easy walking to and from main railway station. Also very central to everything and very quiet! Breakfast was great the staff very attentive making sure everything was topped up. The only down side was the bed was a bit hard! Would recommend this hotel for your stay in Prague.

Outstanding hotel! Plenty of pillows for the bed and the most comfortable bed (so far) of our hotels in Europe. Only stayed one night, but the room was big enough for my wife and me. We traveled with another couple who also enjoyed their room. Excellent breakfast, nice shower (bit small, but otherwise good water pressure). Location is excellent as... More

I stayed at the Sovereign Hotel with my daughter from 17th to 23rd July and we had a lovely stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was extremely good and varied. I would definitely recommend The Sovereign Hotel.

Our room was nice, a little small, but nicely decorated and really modern. The breakfast was really good with lots of variety. It was a great hotel for getting to the airport, but if you’re going to be walking around the city a lot, I wouldn’t recommend this location. It is pretty far from the main attractions in Prague, it... More

Great location. Room size is good. Nice bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful. All services you need are around you hotel in walking distance. Breakfast room is average. Breakfast options are limited and not fresh. Restaurant is ok but close at 10 p.m.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
