We had a lovely stay here for 4 nights, on arrival we were treated in a very special way, welcomed, checked in which was very personal. everything was explained to us about the hotel and given a welcome drink to relax us, all very pleasant indeed. The room was on the first floor and had 2 double beds, solid wood... More

We booked the Savic with two other couples on the beginning of a European vacation which included a later Danube River cruise. The hotel and staff were excellent. The breakfasts were excellent and we had a great dinner there the first night we arrived. The Check-in / Concierge recommended another very nice, nearby restaurant another night. We had booked one... Spent four nights at this hotel for a long break. Ideally positioned just a short walk from Old Town Square. A few mins in the other direction is a tram stop that gives access to a lot of the city including dropping you outside the Castle. Almost everything you want is easily accessible with a short walk. Very well presented... More

My mother and I stayed at the Savic for 4 nights recently and had a wonderful experience. Every single staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered each morning is extensive and tasty. We also ate at the restaurant located in the hotel (Dominikana) a number of times for lunch and dinner. Everything we tried was... More

A really nice change from the usual monotonous concrete hotels, Savic is an old building and all the rooms are, I think, different. Within a few minutes' walk of Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and Astrological Clock, there are plenty of shops, restaurants and sights close by. But given the central location it was surprisingly quiet. The restaurant attached... More

Just returned from a great trip to Prague, would highly recommend the Savic Hotel, it is ideally situated for exploring the city, close to tram stops, a few 100 mtrs from Old Square. The rooms were very well presented with everything you could ask for including good quality hangers!!!. it was hard to believe you were staying on a busy... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for the weekend in February. I have stayed in Prague before and stayed down the same street as the Savic Hotel - I do not regret staying in the same area as it is perfectly located to all the sites. It's Old Town setting is quaint, romantic and extremely close to everywhere you want... More

A very welcoming and comfortable hotel, ideally placed between the Old Square and Charles Bridge. It's also a fascinating old building. The only slight disadvantage for people with mobility problems will be the stairs in various places even though there is a lift to most floors.

We arrived on the 24/04/15 for two nights. Mia who was the receptionist was very kind, my husband is very tall she took one look and said I'm going to change your room as it has a low ceiling and you will not be comfortable. The rooms are roomy and very spacious. Bed was very big and comfy slept very... More

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and really loved it. We were told that the building is an old monastery and was really beautiful. We found the staff both efficient and eager to be helpful. Mira at the front desk was particularly lovely and offered us a welcome drink upon arrival and set us up with lots of... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
