Chose Savic as we had been before. Went with friends and definitely not disappointed. Hotel noted it was my 70th birthday and brought a cheese cake with sparklers and candle to our breakfast table and sang Happy Birthday, together with all other guests in the room, very memorable. Could not fault the hotel or location. Really highly recommended.

I chose Savic Hotel after reading the Trip Advisor reviews. The hotel was very centrally located in the Old Town and a few steps from all the main attractions. The hotel staff was very helpful providing good recommendations for tours and restaurants. The breakfast was included and had plenty of options, including make to order omelettes. The room was spacious,... More

Stayed at the Savic in May 2015 for 3 nights and it was wonderful. Beautiful rooms, updated and very clean. We were on the 4th floor which had raised ceilings and beautiful beams in the room -- the beams are a bit low, and we bumped our heads a few times, but it was worth it, really a beautiful room.... We had a lovely stay here for 4 nights, on arrival we were treated in a very special way, welcomed, checked in which was very personal. everything was explained to us about the hotel and given a welcome drink to relax us, all very pleasant indeed. The room was on the first floor and had 2 double beds, solid wood... More

We booked the Savic with two other couples on the beginning of a European vacation which included a later Danube River cruise. The hotel and staff were excellent. The breakfasts were excellent and we had a great dinner there the first night we arrived. The Check-in / Concierge recommended another very nice, nearby restaurant another night. We had booked one... Spent four nights at this hotel for a long break. Ideally positioned just a short walk from Old Town Square. A few mins in the other direction is a tram stop that gives access to a lot of the city including dropping you outside the Castle. Almost everything you want is easily accessible with a short walk. Very well presented... More

My mother and I stayed at the Savic for 4 nights recently and had a wonderful experience. Every single staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered each morning is extensive and tasty. We also ate at the restaurant located in the hotel (Dominikana) a number of times for lunch and dinner. Everything we tried was... More

A really nice change from the usual monotonous concrete hotels, Savic is an old building and all the rooms are, I think, different. Within a few minutes' walk of Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and Astrological Clock, there are plenty of shops, restaurants and sights close by. But given the central location it was surprisingly quiet. The restaurant attached... More

Just returned from a great trip to Prague, would highly recommend the Savic Hotel, it is ideally situated for exploring the city, close to tram stops, a few 100 mtrs from Old Square. The rooms were very well presented with everything you could ask for including good quality hangers!!!. it was hard to believe you were staying on a busy... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
