The Savic is a slightly above average hotel in a great location. If the Savic was in a different location, we would give it a 3 instead of a 4 rating. But, it has one of the best locations in the heart of Old Town. That central location, however, resulted in couple of noisy nights when the younger bar patrons... More

This hotel has it all - charm, wonderful staff and above all great location. Few steps from all major sites. Nevertheless it is surprisingly quiet and feels like your own Little oasis in the middle of Prauge

this was such a pleasant surprise, when i booked it i knew it was 4 stars, but this was an exceptional property. incredible location in the heart of old town, but yet on a side road where there was quiet evenings for sleeping. the staff was exceptional, helpful, sincere, friendly. we had just come from zurich where we had a... Visited Prague late last year with the girlfriend for a long weekend break. We booked this hotel after reading lots of very good reviews. Straight from booking, the service from the hotel reception was fantastic. The helped give us guides to what to do in the city and suggesting good places to eat and drink. They spent a lot of... My first impression of this place was wow this is perfect but after staying for 3 days I started to notice a few things that can be improved. Let’s start first with what I liked about this property; its got to be the location. Situated in the heart of old town its convenient to most sites. The whole area is... More

Quaint hotel, great location & friendly staff but unfortunately this was ruined by expensive make up going missing from my room. Unless the monastery "ghost" took it I am completely baffled as to where it went? "Housekeepings staff have been working at the hotel for 5 years & are honest people" I was told but if you read a review... More

The hotel is in a very old interesting building very close to the Old Town Square. It was clean and comfortable and the staff very pleasant and friendly. The weather was very warm at the time and thankfully the air conditioning was very effective and silent. Breakfasts were very good with a lot of choice. The restaurant in the hotel... More

this a gem hidden in one of the many alleys in praha, from the time we got in the front door we were looked after like millionaires, the breakfast was plentiful and classy. Location was perfect just a short walk to everything

We had a gorgeous room with an old hand-painted ceiling. It was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection. The best part was the central location close to the old part of town. I would definitely like to stay there again.

My sister and I loved our stay at the Savic Hotel last week. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating, rooms were spacious with great closets and bathroom, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Prague!!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
