We stayed in Savic for 4 nights back in Oct 2014. Very nice hotel, quite, great breakfast and above all, walking distance to the main old city square. The bathroom is excellent and modern. Highly recommended.

What a find. We liked everything about the Savic - central location, mix of historic features and contemporary fittings. All the essentials were very good - comfortable, large beds; excellent shower; good choice and quality breakfast buffet. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, especially Lenka on reception. If we go back to Prague, and we hope to, we... More

We were told that if we were to visit Prague that we should stay in Old Town Square. Thus, we found this hotel at a good price. The hotel is literally within 5 mins or less of walking distance to the Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square, and probably a 10 min walk to the Charles Bridge with plenty of... More

I will visit Prague again for sure! The location of the Savic hotel is excellent and after exploring this beautiful city during the day, how nice to amble around the old town, stop for a glass of wine in one of the many wonderful old squares or enjoy a good, reasonably priced, meal and then perhaps do a little shopping,... Rooms, staff, breakfast and location were all excellent! Rooms are clean and charming. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast, was very good and a great start to the day. And last, the location, step out the door and you are in cobblestone lanes full of restaurants and shops. A 2 minute walk to the clock and main square,... More

Dear Guests, thank you for your kind and positive feedback about your stay. I agree with you that just the location makes a lot advantage to your stay, as the hotel is still in compare to the houses directly on Old Town square, very quiet even in the night and still just around the corner from all main attractions. Old... More

Great experience. Hotel arranged cheap taxi from airport, location could not be better. Welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, got upgraded for free without asking to a family suite room. Room had a good old Eastern European feel to it, albeit with a nice modern bathroom....perfect.breakfast was very good,,,,made to order eggs and omlettes. Overall very good experience and... More

Staff is friendly, good road cozy also a four-story loft. 10-minute walk or so arrived at the beautiful Charles Bridge! That alone can give you more than 80 point score for this hotel. Next, I will not hesitate to go again select SAVIC in Prague.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
