I booked the Three Stork's Hotel as a surprise for my fiancé, we planed all the places we wanted to visit during the plane trip. In our rush the book was left on the plane, my fault of course. Arriving at the hotel with transport they had arrange we were greater with smiles. We checked in and explained my error,... More

Very happy with our choice to stay at the three storks back in July! Lovely boutique hotel with friendly personal service. The room was very large, modern and airy but still had character overlooking the square and with views up to prague castle. The staff were all lovely, an amazing buffet breakfast that might have caused some holiday weight gain,... More

Stayed for 4 nights in February. The room was lovely and warm and equipped with new fittings and a comfy bed. The location is excellent - 5 minutes away from the old town and charles bridge. Breakfast was ok, but not brilliant - with mostly continental options and limited hot drinks. The service was excellent with staff able to make... More

We stayed for a long weekend in February. Everything connected with this hotel was perfect, from the airport pick up, to a complementary drink on arrival, the spacious clean and modern room to the charming and helpful staff. The location is superb - close to all the amenities but in a quiet spot. We would definitely stay again and would... More

We just came back from a 4 days trip to Prague and stayed at the Three Storks at the Deluxe room. It was our home away from home! The staff was friendly and helpful in particularly Michaela. The location of the hotel was very convenient for us: away from the crowd (yes Prague was crowded in February!) but a 5min... More

Stayed towards the end of January and i have to say everything about the Three Storks was amazing. Beautiful hotel on the quieter side of the river, staff were welcoming, friendly and so helpful, my boyfriend and I couldn't of asked for more during our stay. On arrival we were upgraded and treated to a huge room with views of... More

This was my second visit to Hotel Three storks. The hotel is located at a beautiful part of town, but also central. It's just 10 minutes walk from the old city center (and you also get to cross the famous Karl Bridge). The staff is extremley helpful and courteous, smiling faces all around. They even helped us to print our... More

We stayed at The Three Storks for four nights. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our deluxe room was on the second floor and although we didn't have a view of the castle we were really pleased. The room was large and contempory with three large windows, a decorated beam ceiling, wooden floors and modern furniture. The shower room... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

    Neighborhood Profile
    Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Luxurious design hotel is located in the very heart of the historical centre of Prague near the Charles Bridge and the Old Town as well as all other monuments. It offers a fantastic view of the Prague Castle and the Wallenstein Palace. Enjoy the harmony of the preserved renaissance interior and progressive design by the best Czech architects. All hotel rooms are equipped with unique design furniture, futurist bathrooms, air conditioning with individual controls, LCD television, DVD players with a rich choice of DVDs, high-speed WiFi Internet connection, a desk and a safe deposit. In the renowned Wallenstein pub you can engage in an unforgettable culinary experience. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink in the cosy lobby bar or the hotel's glass patio. Breakfast is served in the form of a rich hot buffet. An air-conditioned fully equipped conference room for 30 persons is available for conferences, business negotiations and presentations. A limited number of parking places is available directly in front of the hotel. The first mentions of the house, sometimes also called Altmann House or House at the Kings Magi, date back to the 14th century when, in this locality, the Augustinian Order founded the first Monasterial Brewery of St.Thomas. The only reminder of this period preserved until today is a large Gothic cellar. In the first half of the 17th century, the house was reconstructed in the Renaissance style and given the name of House at the Three Storks and a house sign embossed with three storks. Today's appearance of the facade comes from the Classicist reconstruction in 1794 and 1820, when the connection with three neighbouring buildings resulted in the current aspect of the whole house. The facade with the house sign on a stone plaque and the main portal date precisely from this period. In the 1930s, the history of the renowned Wallenstein restaurant, named after famous Czech aristocratic family and frequented by number of well-known personalities, started evolving in this house. The name of the House at the Three Storks has its implication. The stork used to be a carrier of good news and blissful home. We strongly believe that every visit to this house will comply with the Latin saying originally placed under the house sign: "Frustra mundus invidet, quando Deus providet" - "The world envies in vain, when God takes care." ... more   less
